Awesome Ice

We love our new ice maker the machine starts making ice within minutes of starting the process! Our refrigerator quit making ice but we won’t ever buy one that makes ice since we have this ice maker! Absolutely the best countertop application we have ever purchased.

I upgraded to the 2.0 Opal and I'm enjoying it more than the older module. It's taking up less counter space than the first module and I like the look of the Smart HQ app for the Opal 2. Not sure if it's me but it seems to keep ice longer when its not in Making Ice Mode. Also like that the clean function is on the front and not the back.

I love the ice and the look of the ice maker but almost immediately it started making a squeaking noise. I cleaned it and it stopped. A day later it started squeaking again!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

When Opal is in need of defrosting, it may start to squeak as ice starts to build up around the mechanisms. The defrost cycle is automatic and may take 30-45 minutes.

This ice maker makes the best ice! Easy machine to set up and fits on the counter perfectly! You can also control it from your phone! I love love love it!!

Once my built in ice maker broke after years of use, I took a chance on the 2.0 GE profile I’ve maker and have been nothing but please with how easy, fast, and great this unit works. Pretty much plug it in, and after going through the clean cycles, you have ice within the first hour of using it. Great Product and highly recommend!!

I really enjoy the product. It produces ice quickly, and it is the soft "good ice" and was a hit at my party. I enjoy it. Water does spill a little when I pull out the tray to empty the whole thing - but it is minimal.
