It makes Ice!

The dentist says I shouldn't chew ice. Probably true, but we compromised and this ice maker is da bomb. Great for drinks and other ice related needs too. Easy to use and quiet. Highly recommended if you love ice just like fast food restaurants used to use, but don't go to fast food restaurants because they are also not good for you and pretty gross. I'm eating ice right now!

No other standalone ice maker offers the nugget ice - I’m obsessed with this and so pleased with how well it fits on my counter.

OPAL 2.0 SHORT LIFE

I purchased an OPAL 2 after using the original OPAL for 2 years. Unfortunately this Opal 2 has broken down and due to the info I am reading about the lack of customer service I have little hope of getting it replaced. I just can't afford another one to hope it will last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best ice maker ever!!! I had a Frigidaire for over two years and it became extremely hard to clean with all of the hard water out of our faucet so I got this and I don’t ever see myself turning back.
