The Opal ice maker is a must have if you have a huge family who loves ice! It makes a load of ice in no time and recycles the melted ice water so your machine always has ice. It also has an app which you can use to monitor your ice maker. A great buy!

This ice maker was given to me on the occasion of my 65th birthday by my wonderful family! I haven’t had it even a week but so far all has been well and I am just so delighted with this ice maker and the yummy ice it produces! Easy to use, makes wonderfully crunchy ice... Maybe my best gift...ever!!!

I love ice so much that I annoy my family with my constant crunching. The fast food restaurant chain with the "good ice" should be buying it from me. I use filtered water from my refrigerator because that's what I'm used to drinking, but my sister has the same machine and she uses tap water. We both get soft, perfect, small barrels of the best ice ever. It's so soft that I'm told that crunching is much less obnoxious than it was before.

We LOVE our new GE Opal 2.0 Ice Maker!! It works as advertised and produces “the good ice”! It is wonderful as a portable i e maker, kinda wish there was an option to run a water line to it. But well worth the money!
Still does “drip” and where we have it installed - we can’t use the drip tray. But not a huge deal for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!
