It's great to have ice again.

I've had issues with the ice maker in all of the refrigerator/freezers I've owned in the last 10 years with most of the ice makers only lasting about a year or so. I finally gave up on replacing them and went without an ice maker for 2 years. I decided to try the Opal and I'm glad that I did. The ice it makes is great and it doesn't take that long for the bin to fill up. While the it's making ice, the compressor can be heard, but I've found that the noise fades to the background unless I specifically listen for it. I'm very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our whole family enjoys our ice maker, we can’t remember what is way like before our Opal! It is quiet and it is easy to refill the water tank. Pellet ice is the best!

This thing is great. The side tank holds plenty of water for consistent ice production. The machine makes ice quickly. I love the auto shutoff feature.

Everything I hoped!

A friend of ours had the first version and I saw it and had to have it! Very sleek and stylish! I also had to have the ice at home from our favorite southern food chain - Chick Fil A! I was worried after reading some reviews - but have been totally satisfied. It makes a lot of ice for its small size, keeps up with demand, and makes ice quickly in our opinion. I love the water tank feature. I was worried about the noise after reading some reviews, but it definitely doesn’t bother us. I would expect there to be some level of noise with a machine, but it is quiet in our opinion. We love it! If your on the fence, buy it! You won’t regret it!

I have been searching for an affordable nugget ice maker for a long time. I finally found this one and have loved it from the first day! Quite a few friends have seen it and are ready to get one themselves! Delivery time was awesome as well!

We had an Opal nugget before & loved it. When it finally quit working we HAD to order the 2.0. I love the WiFi connectivity & of course, it’s the best ice EVER!

Great Ice Maker

My wife found this product online and thought it would make a great early Father’s Day gift for me. When she showed me, I was intrigued by the ice but skeptical about having yet another appliance in the house taking up coveted counter space. Well, I am now a convert. The machine is quite compact and fits easily on a counter without being obtrusive, yet is large enough to make and hold a quantity of ice sufficient for our family of seven. It’s also extremely quick to produce the ice-turn it on when it’s time for movie night and within ten minutes it’s churning out ice, and the bin is half full fifteen minutes after that. The beauty of the device is that when the ice bin is full, any additional ice produced spilled over into the water reservoir where it melts and gets drawn back into the machine to produce ice again. When you are done with the machine, the ice left in the bin melts, drains from the ice bin into the water reservoir, and when you start it up
again that water gets made into ice yet again. And if that isn’t enough, the ice maker is WiFi enabled and connected via an app. If you’re leaving work and want ice when you arrive home thirty minutes later, you can turn the machine on from the app while walking out to your car and it will turn on and have the ice churning for you when you get home. Want to turn it off? You can do that remotely as well. The machine makes a little noise on start up, then quickly settles in and is very quiet after a few minutes. And the ice is superb. Soft, crunchy, just like what you get at some restaurants and in the hotel ice machines. Do yourself a favor and buy this ice maker.
