This is a great ice maker. It is quiet and easy to maintain. Other reviews that spoke of it not lasting long are, so far, refuted. Cross fingers.

Holy Cow! Game Changer! So Soft! So Good!

Holy cow! No more bothering my husband to go to everyone's favorite drink stop with the good ice! You know the one. You also know that good chicken place with the even better ice. Yeah, this tops that even. I was worried that it wouldn't be as soft because the ice in my freezer is really hard. No, ma'am, Pam! This ice is so soft. And QUIET! It has a small noise, but hello! It's making the best ice in the world! The demand keeps up with my ice addiction plus that of my husband and two sons. It fills quickly and just keeps going. On the days that my husband goes into the office, I take pictures of how wonderful my drinks are and how I have a cup of just ice at my desk to chomp on. He says that it's a cruel punishment. I say I'm just bragging! Quit thinking about it. Buy it. Why haven't you hit the purchase button yet?

I am more than pleased with this product. Was concerned about the price and the reviews that said they had issues. I carefully followed all the instructions for cleaning it before use and have had none of the problems other people reported. I am amazed at how much easier it is for my husband and I to get our daily water in. It is like it begs you to drink more. Other people have complained about the noise, but it doesn’t make anymore noise than a refrigerator and if you happen to notice it making more ice then it is just an encouragement to top off your glass. You can never have too. Ice water or ice when you live in the desert.

The Perfect Ice Maker In Your Own Home!!!

I’ve been wanting my very own ice machine for YEARS and thanks to GE and my wonderful husband I finally have one. This machine makes the perfect ice, soft and chewable, perfect size. I couldn’t be happier.
