Great ice but noisy as all heck

It is a great ice maker but the noise is crazy loud. If it is in a separate room then I would recommend it. If it’s in your main living space, as ours is, look at something else or go to sonic to buy your ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome ice maker, great quality of ice, perfect size. It fits perfectly next to my wine fridge. The taste is AMAZING and it’s easy to use. I’m really impressed by the cleaning system UV included. I’m in LOVE.

Love it, but.....

Been through a number of ice makers over the past couple of years since it is our only source of ice (live on a boat). Most last around a year before failing.
The Opal is awesome (so far). The big test for me is it's durability.
Check with me in 1.5 yrs.....

This ice machine is amazing. If you like the perfect crunchy rabbit poop ice, look no further. Only thing to make it better would be a water line hookup.

Great ice maker! My family is very happy with the nugget ice machine. It makes the perfect nugget ice and is enough for a family of 4 on an average day. Its not too loud and is easy to set up. I really like being able to control it on the App. Cleaning is easy and does not require anything special. Definitely recommend!
