GE "Soft Ice" solution!

Soft ice in my opinion is one of the best inventions ever. Spending the purchase price was something I struggled with for some time however I do not regret it one bit. Great unit, amazing soft ice, and a very attractive appliance to boot. Not for everyone, but for those who enjoy this type of ice, this unit will not disappoint!

Makes the perfect nugget ice but a little loud

I am pleased with the quality and amount of ice that is made. The only downside of the product is that the motor is loud when producing the ice.

Great tasting ice

We used ti buy 60 lbs of ice weekly thanks to the G.E OPAL icemaker we don't have to go to the store for ice we live in Florida where ice is king the best quality chewable ice you can have

Exactly the Ice Machine I Needed

This machine looks great, and everyone compliments the ice it makes for their drinks. But more importantly, it actually has a great way to clean the machine. It's a little confusing the first time, but after that it's simple. Our old machine had no "practical" way to be cleaned that's why it broke within 2 years, and is now replaced lol.
If you're looking for a machine to do parties of 15+ people, you're going to want a built in heavy duty ice maker, not this.

I am totally in love. I was hesistant about purchasing this ice maker because I was concerned about the consistency of the ice but this machine is the best! It makes ice pretty fast, the ice is nice and soft, and the machine is pretty quiet!

My dream ice machine!!!

Truly the best gift I received on my 40th birthday. We use it every day, multiple times a day - and it works absolutely perfectly. The ice is delicious, I keep hydrated, and my dog no longer chokes on huge ice cubes. It’s a win all around! Highly recommend if you enjoy perfect ice that crunches, but is also like crunching on a soft cloud! Don’t hesitate If you are on the fence - I did for too long and wish i bought it sooner.

This ice maker makes the best nugget ice! It is easy to assemble and it looks sleek in any bar. It makes the “good” ice that everyone loves, and is already a hit in our house!

Overall a great product. Great looking, produces nice ice, relatively quiet. My only complaint would be the hose from the side water tank gets air bubbles quite often and you have to play with the line to get the eater flowing again. Not the best design.
