Love the ice this thing makes

I really like the way this machine operates and makes Ice.
I like chewing on ice and having softer nuggets saves my teeth. The machine is easy to use, relatively easy to clean and by setting up a schedule, it makes Ice when I need it!

Great icemaker

In general I love this machine, I find it's noise level acceptable, and love the quality of the ice. The main cons are the price, and how cleaning requires me to move the machine around to access the drain hoses. That said I used to barely use ice in my drinks and I bought this for a crushed ice replacement in cocktails. Now I use ice in nearly every cold drink I have at home. There are now other nugget ice makers out there for less expense, but this one is really much better build quality.

Hospital quality chewable nugget ice

I purchased v2. It is quieter than version 1. They both make ice quickly. The side tank is wonderful. I will use v1 in my office.

Make the nugget ice quickly and and keeps it frozen for a while. The water tank on the machine holds atleast 5 cups of water

This ice maker is worth the money! It’s quiet and I can have it running all day without noise or it getting hot. The ice is to die for, but make sure you are using filtered water and not tap. Easy to set up, highly recommend running a couple extra cycles than what is recommended after the bleach. 10/10 it is a must buy!

I am so glad I moved forward with the purchase of the Opal 2.0 Ice Maker. It produces a delightful textured ice with the perfect size Our family literally looks forward to our family gatherings knowing we will all be enjoying the ice. Who would have imagined that “ice” really does add to family gatherings. Home Run GE!

Makes perfect ice!

This ice maker is a dream. Makes the best ice and does so quickly! When you don’t use it, it just melts and the machine is ready to work again. With the WiFi and app, I can turn it on from anywhere any time and have ice ready when I need it.
