Best Ice Ever

We received the Opal Ice Maker as a Christmas gift and we absolutely love it. The pieces are perfect if you like to eat ice and it is not hard so it shouldn’t damage your teeth. Makes ice quickly and when you fill glasses it automatically comes on and refills the ice bin. The size makes it easy to handle so it can be moved from inside to the pool area so we always have a ice for cold drinks. I highly recommend the GE Opal Ice Maker.

The water tank was a great idea

The unit is a great size for counter use. We love the lighted storage area. My wife has always loved that type of ice and had to stop a lot to purchase and always said lots of ice please.

Perfect Ice Machine

It makes the best tasting ice out there and it chewable and perfect all times of the day. my only note would be that I wish when you tilted the ice bin down it didn't drip in front of the machine. It's very small amount and there is that drip try however the drip try is slick on the bottom and moves around so its not a perfect solution, would i buy this again without even a moments thought. people on line says the gen one filters wont fit this gen 2 model and they are wrong it has worked perfectly and I even called and verified with support they would in fact fit, the filter makes the water even better and takes out the city flavor from the ice.

How ice turned tears to a smile!!

I’ve waited a long time to get this ice machine, when it finally got here to my horror the box looks like someone took a baseball bat to it and the bottom fell out. To my bad luck the machine was banged up to, after talking to Best Buy the best thing I decided was to take the 10% off (yes not very much if you know what this machine cost) and use the machine and see if it worked. Well good news it works perfectly hums alongs beautifully. I love the ice it make!! It’s great for any drink, it’s easy to chew. It’s fun to make flavored ice. So my machine has some dents..but that’s ok cause it turns out the ice faster than we can eat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had a countertop ice maker before which was a huge disappointment so was wary of the claims people made on this one, but this ice maker does everything it claims: makes tons of ice, easy set-up, easy clean-up! Unbelievable!
