A step up from the original loud made by Opal

This ice maker is so much quieter and solid compared to the Opal Nugget Ice Maker I bought last year. It only lasted a little over a year and luckily I bought the extended warranty. I bought my parents the Opal and theirs died at the same time. Excellent ice maker in all aspects and hoping it lasts. I would recommend buying the additional warranty.

There is no doubt that I contemplated buying this machine with such a high price tag but I am sooo glad I did. We have the good ice anytime we want! Soft ice to chew on and actually helps me drink more water. Highly recommend!

My family loves crushed ice and this works like a charm. I agree with the previous reviews that the machine is a bit on the noisy side but it sits in our kitchen and we don't hear it in any other rooms. Also, we only use distilled water in the hopes of avoiding any maintenance issues, and it isn't always readily available. That said, my gang is thrilled with the ice that this puppy puts out. Worth the hassle.

Looks good and nugget ice is perfect

Wifi setup was a little tricky but after a phone call to a very nice and patient young lady, everything is working perfectly. I love the fact that I can start making ice before I leave work and it's full when I get home.
