Our Samsung refrigerator ice make has always been a pain since we bought it. Clogs up weekly . Complaining to my husband constantly, he bought me this for Christmas! I LOVE IT! the best ice for us ice lovers! Small and soft, perfect. we only use the fridge for ice water now.

Great pellet shaped ice

Big fan of the shape of the ice. Also, we really like having the extra water tank on the side of the machine, and that it is optional. We generally get the extra tank out when having company.

My wife loves the soft “sonic” ice! The machine is easy to use and not too loud. Very happy with the purchase. There are some less expensive ice machines but this has need worth every penny so far! Highly recommend.

Easy to set up. Clear instructions on how to do the initial cleaning and installation. Perfect ice at home! This has helped us drink more water because we have awesome ice to eat along with it. The amount that it produces is great for the 2 of us. You may need to ration the servings if you have 4 or more people using this regularly. Still would recommend and so glad I received it for Christmas!

Great First Experience

Just used the Opal for my first mass family visit. Worked perfectly and the family preferred the Opal ice over the freezer ice. Side reservoir is so easy to refill as needed based upon usage. Low humming when running was unobtrusive and barely noticable.

I've been searching for years trying to find an affordable consumer model that makes great ice. The GE Profile Series is definitely it! The nugget ice is exactly what I was wanting and the ease of setting it up and using it is first class. The quality of the nugget ice is better than I expected. I just couldn't believe a consumer grade ice maker could give the quality of ice I was wanting. I've been thrilled with it and would highly recommend it to anyone.
