I love this kind of ice so my husband surprised me with this little gem for my birthday. It makes enough ice for the two of us just fine. We both use it every morning and throughout each evening. We've never run out. The water doesn't need to be filled more than once or twice a week for us. If I could change one thing it would be to allow water to be refilled without removing the water tank. Not a big deal, but it would be nice, I think. I love this ice!

Love the ice size and taste! Keeps the bin full or near full in an ice loving family! This ice maker fits perfectly on my small beverage bar! and keeps our beverages cold!

Pellet ice!

I had the first ice maker made by Opal and I am a huge fan of pellet ice! This runs like a champ and if you are a sonic ice lover this is a must have! I will say the original one I had was quieter so plan for that is placing it. All in all though many features are improved. Holds less water so filling up every 2 days can be a pain. I say buy it though, you will not regret it!

Ice is great quality; works best if you use distilled water or mineral deposits will build up; the scheduler in the app does. It appear to be functioning; machine makes some loud concerning noises

Machine keeps ice frozen until used or your let it melt. Great for just chewing and driving someone crazy.
