We bought this to replace a smaller electric frypan. This one is larger - but we would prefer if it was a bit deeper. This one has a positive connection electrical control - which is a lot better than the one we had on our prior frypan where the control would 'pop out' if one was not super careful. This one 'snaps' in - which is a good feature. We were surprised that we had to attach the handles - but that was not a big deal. The screws were a little hard to get started - maybe an engineering fix could resolve this minor issue. We hear the 'rock' non-stick surface is supposed to be very durable. Only time will tell.

I bought the skillet to use in our camper van. We were looking for something small and lightweight. We tried making pasta sauce, pan cakes, scrambled eggs, and soup. Everything cooked well and evenly. It heats up really fast which is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought The Rock 12'' electric skillet about 1 month ago to use on our camping trip. Easy to assemble, although you should mention on the box that a screwdriver is required for assembly. It cooks evenly and has a wonderful capacity. Very pleased with this product.
