Best electric skillet I've used ever!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I depend on electric skillets for my everyday kitchen needs....from deep frying to stir frying and everything else in between. My son bought this for me as an early Christmas gift and now I will never go back to Black an Decker which was my main skillet that I always used!

I purchased this item for my spouse as an Xmas gift. He does most of the cooking and has done nothing but complain about our existing electric skillet. Every time he uses The Rock electric skillet he praises how much he likes using it. I do the clean-up and it is so easy to wash up. Keep up the good work....I plan I purchasing other Starfrit The Rock products.

Not Easy to assemble

I fastened the feet/handles but they remained loose. It took a fair amount of pressure to secure the bolts and I was concerned I would strip the threads of the fittings. The notice in the box indicated 2017/2018 draws but I purchased new in 2020!!

Frustration but haven’t given up

I purchased this electric skillet in May of 2020. The heating cord stopped working in early 2021. I contacted the company, and they sent me a new heating cord free of charge which I greatly appreciated. I’ve discovered that, the problem was with the heating element of the pan itself which also shorted out my second cord that I received. I was so bummed because I believe in this pan so much; has been the best electric skillet I have ever owned and I’ve been through quite a few of them with four kids and lots of cooking! Short story is I decided to buy another one even though I had this problem. If this one shorts out, well, then I guess it is the product’s problem, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this one will last longer.

I love this electric skillet except for power cord

I loved using my Starfrit Electric skillet but the power cords gets too hot and stops working. Unfortunately, now I can not use my beloved pan anymore.
