Nearly perfect beard trimmer

I have been using this product for around a year, and it has proven to be a stellar performer. It holds its charge a long time, and has a powerful and smooth cutting action. The blades and guards are all super easy to swap out. Love the tiny detail trimmer for those critical areas around my beard and mustache that just need a little cleaning up. Really, the only thing I would add to this trimmer is a little led light that glows when charging. It has literally no indication as to charge state. Anyway, great product at a great price point.

I love this trimmer. Super easy to use and has many attachments for different areas. Love that it has different length clips for face and body. Also came with a black bag that you can keep everything in and travel is super easy. I also like that the charger says Phillips so it doesn’t get mixed up my my other chargers. Doesn’t feel cheap. Battery last a while.

Not bad if you want to save a bundle on haircuts!

I bought this during the Covid-19 pandemic to keep my husband and four boy's hair from getting too shaggy and scruffy-looking. It is not difficult to use if you watch a couple of YouTube videos. There are several easily-changed attachments that clip on quite securely, and are used to determine the length of your cut. The unit charges quickly and stays charged for at least a few uses. The only negative is that hair clogs up the clipper pretty often, and you have to pull off the attachment to clean out the hair to continue clipping away. In the future, we are probably going to use this more often than the hairdresser, as the haircuts look great and cost nothing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like almost everything about this trimmer. But I would like to take this opportunity to recommend one improvement. The combs: I use the 3 mm and 7 mm mostly. I wish their sizes were more clearly readable. I would highlight them with white out, but we don't have it on hand anymore. Different colors would work, but may increase costs way to much. How about bars molded in the surface where the numbers currently are. 3 bars, 5 bars, 7 bars, etc. would be easier to see and also to feel.

Trimmer stopped working/trim was not short enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before the trimmer stopped working about a month after purchasing it, the quality of trim was probably at best average. The trimmer was in working order and it operated as it was designed to. The trim just wasn’t close enough based on past experiences with a comparably priced Wahl trimmer. The trim guards also were not numbered. You have to test which will cut shorter because some look the same length but have no identifiable numbering system. I will be submitting for reimbursement of the cost of purchase. I think there is a warranty. Either way I will have to go back to a Wahl trimmer. I really was looking for an alternative to Wahl. This Philips trimmer is not the one.

Other reasons that the product is not working might be that the battery is empty, or a cutting element is blocked. When using the trimmer, make sure that the side with the cutting element touches the hair by rotating the trimming head around. For best results, clean your nose trimmer after each use and lubricate the trimming head with a drop of sewing machine oil every six months. If you own a nose trimmer which runs on disposable AA batteries, it is possible that it is time to replace them. To solve this issue simply replace the battery with a new one.

Cuts skin too easily

One Great Trimmer!

If you have a moustache, beard or hair this is a trimmer for you. The Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 is lightweight and the lithium battery provides less weight and greater runtime. The 13 tools provided will cover every trim job. I use the moustache comb/guide for getting a even cut even up under the nose. No use for tiny scissors.

Nasal trimmer broke the first time I used it.
