This is the best trimmer out of 10 that I have purchased in 20 years. It doesn't cut my skin or leave bumps. The selling point for me was that I didn't have to use lube on the trimmer. The attachments stay in place as I use them and it does what it says it will.
Pros: charge lasts long enough to do all my trimming., attachments stay in place., great performance.
Cons: the lube tends to get all over the storage bag., ear hair attachment is not as good as i had hoped.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product won't turn off or turns on randomly

I just bought this product. I had an older version of this this just died. I maybe had it for over a decade. Anyhow, I went to the store to get a new one and on the first use it was fine. Then when I was done with my shave I couldn't turn it off. As in I pressed the power button but nothing happened. I left it sitting on a towel and it eventually it turned off. Then I the middle of the night it turned on again. This happened a few times. Norelco, please fix this.

On/Off Switch Quit after One Month

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate the variety of trim guards. The nose/ear rotating blades are dull and cut poorly.
But the worst came after one month after delivery. The unit is inoperable. The on/off switch works intermittently. It takes three to four attempts to turn it on and takes a left/center/right sequence to get it to turn on.
I will ask for a replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I have gotten older, 32.5 years old, I feel I look better with shorter hair, since my hair has completely grayed, and thinned. At the same time, I've started growing a full and or partial beard - to offset the shorter hair and the grayness. I always - keep the beard very short, clean lines and uniform to my face. This Phillips Multigroom 3000, is perfect in helping to do such. Instead of shaving the beard off with a razor and shaving cream only, I can now trim the beard hairs short first - then go about shaving with a razor and shaving cream as normal. It's a wonderful product, with many different attachments that I have not used with it as of yet.

I have only used it a couple of times but I am super impressed with how long the battery stays charged and how easy it is to use. It give me detailed trimming. I don't have to fight with it or worry it won't trim my mustache. You definitely tell the difference between my old one and this one. It does a great job. I highly recommend it

I bought Philips Multigroom series 3000 multipurpose trimmer. It works really well. The price is affordable and there are lots of accessory choices. I use to have another Philips groomer which you can adjust the length of the trim from 1-10mm without the need to put on accessory. That's why I gave it 4 instead of 5 for ease of use. For this groomer, it goes by every 2mm e.g. 1mm, 3mm, and so forth. It looks nice and sturdy.
Pros: sturdy built, price, lots of choices for accessories, good performance, decent battery life
Cons: need accessory on and off to adjust trimmer length, accessories take up some small space, trimmer length is somewhat limited
I would recommend this to a friend!
