The skin protect comb is intended to provide you with a comfortable, clean appearance while also providing complete skin protection. For a close, smooth trim, the comb guides the skin away from the blades. However, when you first trim, you can begin by using the comb with the maximum trimming length setting or the highest trimming length setting to familiarize yourself with the product.

Not as customizable as previous razors I’ve had

I have had Phillips in the past that were more adjustable. I find only having a small amount of attachments and not adjusting in smaller increments to not do the length I like unfortunately. Otherwise works well

Finally quit charging, so I purchased the same brand with lithium battery. Wish it cut closer without attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this little set to replace some off-brand kits I had been using. The Multigroom 3000 really did the trick and in process surprised me. The quality is better than you would expect at this price point and it works great! The blades are very sharp and shear through facial hair effortlessly, while not slicing and dicing my face up. The kit comes with all the height gauges you would expect to trim your beard (or whatever) to whatever length you prefer. It cleans up easily and stores nicely in a supplied bag. All in all, I could not be happier. Full stars!
