A Combo Feeding Must Have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple, Clear, 9oz, 4 pack through Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I absolutely love that these bottles are breast-like. My 5 month old is mainly breastfed and these allow bottle feeding to be as close to being breastfed as possible. The nipple is breast-like, leak-proof, and also allows for baby to pause and take some breaths if needed. Nipple confusion is a scary thought for breastfeeding moms and I am so appreciative of companies that create products to help eliminate that fear for parents!
Everything about this product provides ease in feeding. It was super easy for my breastfeed baby to take to this bottle and nipple. The bottles are very easy to take apart, wash, and assemble. It eliminates a lot of time when a bottle can be cleaned as quickly as this one. Time is scarce for parents and I love that these bottles can be cleaned and assembled quickly so that you can get back to spending precious time with your little one(s).
The nipple’s wide shape and responsive tip allows for my daughter to get a really good feeding. I hate to be repetitive, but this is so breast-like and natural looking that I think the transition from breast to bottle and back is smooth. Another great feature is the ergonomic shape of the bottle, which allows the caregiver to hold the bottle comfortably while feeding occurs. It is also pleasant to look at versus some other bottles out there that I have seen.

Philips Aventurine Natural

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hopeful about this bottle because of its design and shape. They were easy to assemble and clean and the nipple shape is gradual. Unfortunately, my baby couldn’t quite figure out the bottle and was chewing on the end instead of sucking. I would recommend these to others and wish they worked for us! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Best bottles we have tried

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how sleek and easy to clean these bottles are! Just 4 pieces (including the lid!) - they are way simpler than almost any other bottle I’ve tried.
The wide bottle top mimics the shape of the breast, making me feel very comfortable giving it to my daughter (we mostly breastfeed, and just do 1-2 bottles a day). I’m not worried at all about nipple confusion with these. She was actually going through a spurt of bottle refusal, and accepted this one right away, which makes it a total winner in my book!
I like that, since the bottles are wider they aren’t extraordinarily tall. They also fit on my favorite breast pump so I can pump right into the bottle (yay for fewer dishes!!)
Overall I love these bottles, and we are transitioning to using these exclusively for our daughter. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set.

Minimal parts makes cleaning easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try these bottles in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately my baby did not take to these bottles so my rating and review is based on the quality and ease of use. We have had an extremely tough time getting our breastfed daughter to take ANY brand of bottle OR pacifier. We used Philips avent bottles with our son when he was a baby (he’s now 5) so Philips is a brand I know and trust and thus was excited to try these new Philips bottles with the natural response nipples for that fact and because they’re supposed to mimic breastfeeding. Unfortunately my daughter wasn’t taking to them, but she apparently has an extreme aversion to any ‘faux’ nipple. I can say that we didn’t have any issues with milk leaking out of the nipple which I’ve ran in to with a lot of other brands. Honestly with some of them, the milk just pours out of the nipple when you tilt the bottle but that wasn’t the case with these so I was thrilled about that. These bottles also don’t have any ‘extra’ parts which I love because it makes preparing the bottle so much quicker and easier - always a plus when you have a hungry baby on your hands. The wider mouth also makes them easier to clean! Because of these features, I would definitely recommend you give them a try!

Bottle to mimic breast feeding

I am very happy with the bottles and nipples. My 5-month-old has been going to daycare three days a week since I started back to work when he was 3 months old. He didn’t have any problem changing from another type of bottle that we’ve been using to the Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple and bottle. In fact, he did better with the Avent bottle and nipples. My daycare and my in-laws said he seemed less colicky and the bottle didn’t leak as much as the other bottles we used. I’ve completely switched over now. He also latches better and more quickly as if it’s more natural of a flow. It really seems to mimic breast feeding. I’ve been breast feeding since the day he was born and started him with bottles while still in the hospital and these are the best bottles by far!
The only negative thing I have to say about the nipples is that one of the nipples turned color and I’m not sure why or how. I also started giving my son baby food at daycare. They offered him carrots the other day and that’s the day the nipple turned from clear to an orange hue. I wonder if he stained the nipple after eating carrots. I have no better explanation.
The only negative thing about the bottles for us is that my son likes to drink sitting up and because the bottles are so wide, it’s hard to get all the milk out. I have to lay him back completely at the end of the bottle to get every last precious drop of breast milk.

Amazing bottles for breastfed baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My breastfed 7-month-old took to these bottles and nipples immediately! I have used other bottles before, and my baby would chew on the nipples for several seconds before being able to find a good latch. That was not the case with these at all! She latched right away! She also seemed very satisfied with the shape of the nipple and how she was able to control the flow of milk in a similar way to breastfeeding. The shape of the bottle makes it very easy and comfortable to hold, and I love how there are minimal parts to the bottle. This makes washing and assembling it a breeze! I’m very happy that I was able to try these bottles through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I would highly recommend these bottles for breastfed babies!

Great bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set. I really love these bottles. They are sturdy and really easy to hold. What I really love though is the nipple on these bottles actually don’t leak. My only issue I came across was the nipple flow on these was a little fast. Because my daughter was breastfeeding when I used a bottle I always used the slowest flow. That’s what she is used to. Once I changed to the slower flow nipple I loved these bottles. It is always a tragedy when any breast milk leaks and with these I don’t have that problem. I also haven’t had to worry about her throwing her bottle and milk leaking on to my light back seat. I will definitely be buying the different flow nipples as she grows because I can’t go back to normal nipples after these. There was definitely an adjustment period for the shape of these.

Easy transition breast to bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly impressed by this bottle/nipple and the ease that my daughter took to this bottle from breastfeeding. Disclaimer- I was not looking for new bottles/nipples and was quite content with the bottles I had previously purchased after spending hours researching them before she was born! BUT receiving this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel opened my eyes! Super easy to clean- only three parts- no small holes for gunk to build up! I loved that (better than my current bottles). My daughter held the bottle herself with ease (she’s 6 months) and the wider/longer nipple made for a super easy transition- literally she guzzled down her first bottle like she had been doing this for months! I have no complaints! Great bottle!
