Great design for breastfed babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously used the 4 oz. version of this bottle and was just as pleased with the 9 oz. The wide nipple design and no-drip nipple were a very natural transition for my breastfed infant. The bottle shape makes it easy to hold and it remains balanced no matter how much milk is inside.
This bottle comes standard with the Flow 3 nipple. I exchanged the nipple for a Flow 2 nipple because my 2 month old wasn't ready for the amount of milk released from the Flow 3. As she ages, I will have the Flow 3 ready to insert.
As a busy mom on the go, I appreciate that this bottle only has three pieces, so it is quick to wash and assemble.

Nice bottle but not for us

This seems like a nice bottle. It was easy to clean, there weren't too many finicky parts, and it came apart and went back together easily. However, my baby hated this bottle and refused to drink from it. We had to pour the milk into another bottle several times. This is my third baby and each one has preferred a different brand for bottles/ pacifiers, so I gave my rating on the bottle from my perspective, since there is no accounting for a baby's preference.
My two "cons" for this bottle: It is hard-sided and I prefer a soft-sided "squishy" bottle, since my daughter likes to grab and squish it while she drinks. Also, the natural flow nipple seemed to be difficult for her. We were using a higher stage than what she is used to (she's usually still stage one, but these were stage 2 & 3), but she couldn't seem to get enough milk out and was frustrated with the pace. Again, this may be specific to her, but those are the reasons I took off a star.

They are so easy for our 6month old to hold when she uses it and the natural flow nipple has been great as she drinks both milk at the breast and from the bottle, no nipple confusion! The simple white design makes it easy to see the amount in the bottle as well! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Avent Natural Baby Bottle Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mother of an 8 month old baby boy, who was born prematurely, we love the simple and easy to clean design of Avent Natural Baby Bottles. The responsive nipples allow my baby to easily switch between bottle feeding and breastfeeding without fuss. The variety of nipple flow choices allowed us to start with the slowest flow and move to faster flows as he was ready. He is now able to hold the bottle himself and feed at his own pace with this bottle. We have tried other bottle and nipple brands and this is the one that we like the best because he is able to feed on his own and the nipple stays in place and does not suction in on itself. The shape of the bottle allows my infant to hold the bottle by himself and feed at his own pace. This is the go to bottle in our household. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set.

Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby bottle the from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my 7 month old daughter to try. The nipple is wide enough to match the shape of her mouth and the tip is long enough to reach the middle of her tongue. My baby was willing to take this bottle pretty quickly once she was hungry and ready to eat. Unfortunately, the size 3 nipple milk flow pace was too fast for my daughter, she did choke a few times during her feeds. We may have to revisit that flow rate when she’s older. I think a slower flow would be better suited for her drinking style. The bottle itself was easy to clean and assemble and my daughter was able to hold it herself while feeding. The bottle came with a lid which is good for storage and the bottle fit in my bottle universal warmer. My daughter only drinks about 5 oz during feeds so the 9 oz bottle was larger than she needed. This bottle is probably more ideal for older babies or babies who drink formula and need higher volume intake. Overall, I am content with the design of the bottle. Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle.

Great choice for a larger bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn't normally have tried out a larger bottle, but I received this 9oz bottle to try and I'm glad I did. The bottle is a nice, comfortable shape to hold as compared to the smaller bottles we had been using. My husband said he liked the feel in his larger hands (and he does most of the bottle feeding in our house!) The baby seemed very comfortable drinking from the nipple, even though the flow is a bit slower than what she is used to. I think it's good to have a variety of nipple sizes for baby to try, and while I'm not a lactation consultant or expert, it seems to me just intuitively that having a responsive nipple that requires baby to actively suck might help prevent nipple confusion or a preference for the bottle.
My baby usually takes 4-6 ounces at a feeding, so we don't fill the bottle up all the way but a big bonus is that this wide-neck bottle fits perfectly on my pump! So, I can pump into it and then use it to store milk at work. I use the "pitcher method" where I combine milk from all my pump sessions throughout the day, so while I definitely don't pump enough to fill it up at one session, I'm able to combine milk into this bottle and then I don't have to carry as many bottles back-and-forth to work.
If you're looking for a 9oz wide-neck bottle with a comfortable shape, responsive nipple that keeps a breastfed baby actively engaged, and that is simple to take apart and clean, this is a good choice for you.

Great Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to be selected by the Stellar Products Testing Panel to try the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set with Natural Response Nipple, 9oz. For our older child, we used the smaller bottles and then had to go back and buy larger ones when he got older. For our daughter, it was nice to only have a bottle that we can use from now until she no longer needs a bottle. Our baby did just fine with this nipple, and she seemed to prefer the wider shape, compared to others we have tried. The bottles are SUPER easy to clean and assemble, which is a definite plus!! I will be recommending this Baby Bottle Set to all of our family and friends who are having or have a baby!

Great ergonomic natural flow baby bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Philips Avent Natural baby bottle to test thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used this bottle with my 3 month old daughter who is both breast and bottle fed and she took to this bottle with no issue! The nipple's wide shape and responsive tip mimicked breastfeeding and allowed her to feed at her own pace, same as she is able to while nursing, without the milk just flowing into her mouth. The ergonomic design of this bottle made it easy and comfortable to hold while feeding her. The shape of the bottle and the fact that it is only three pieces, also made it extremely easy to clean. Unlike some bottle nipples, this nipple was easy to clean using only your hands, without the need of special bottle nipple cleaning brushes. The bottle also fit well in the special bottle pockets/insulated pockets of our diaper bag, which made it easy to travel with! Overall, I was very happy using this baby bottle.
