Advent natural bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Philips Avent natural bottles through Stellar Product Testing Panel. When our baby was first born, we used Philips Avent and wanted to love them so badly but unfortunately our little one did not. We find that he spits up more when drinking from these. However, the clean up of the bottles is a breeze, the bottles are affordable, and they barely leak!! If only the baby loved them as we do! But each child is his own and maybe the next will enjoy these more!

Advent Blue Bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted advent bottles at my baby shower so when I was sent these blue advent bottles through Stellar Panel I already knew I love them! I’m only giving this set a 4 star review because of two reasons-
#1- this blue 9oz 3 pack is missing the cap plug you use when musing formula so that it doesn’t get stuck in the nipple (huge because my son only eats formula)
#2- the font is smaller and grey on these plus bottles so at night it’s hard to see the lines if you’re making a bottle in dimmer light.
Overall I love every product Phillips Advent has came out with, the fact that these bottles are so versatile with the different flow nipple that are interchangeable and that they’re sturdy and easy to clean. The blue ones are just a missing the mark a bit.

Best Bottles Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avent Natural bottles are the absolute best and worked great for all of my children! After my first child refused to take a bottle for months, we easily tried over 10 different brands before she finally (and easily!) took an Avent Natural bottle! We have since used these bottles for all of our children. The wide mouth and bottle are super easy to assemble even in the middle of the night. They are also simple to disassemble and clean. There is something special about the feel and flow of the nipple that made it an easy transition for my children. There was never a problem with flow rate or dribbling milk. They even offer a choice of colors for extra fun! I am very thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this product to review!

Favorite Bottle for Breastfed Baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bottles are my six-month-old daughter’s new favorite. Being exclusively breastfed, she immediately took to the really soft nipple and loved holding the bottle herself - she wouldn’t let it go! As an added bonus, it has only a few, easy-to-clean parts, including a wide bottle neck. Win-win for mom and baby! The only downside I could find was that the bottle cap can be a bit challenging to remove, especially single-handed. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set.

Best bottles for breastfed babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 month old baby girl is breastfed and absolutely refused to take a bottle when she started daycare (I’m talking from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. without eating). She came home fussy, hungry, and woke up at night to catch up on the feedings she was refusing during the day. I was super hopeful when these bottles came in and I was right to be. She took the first one she was offered and has been drinking from these ever since. We love how these bottles are designed, they’re super easy to clean and to put together. There’s only 4 components to put together and take apart. Our baby really responded well to the flow of milk from the nipple, it stops when she stops and the flow isn’t so fast that she chokes or has to stop. She is just as happy to get her milk from these bottles as she is to nurse from the breast. We love these bottles. Our baby girl now comes home fed and happy after daycare every day, which is why I had to give it five stars. Can’t thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel enough for sending me this baby bottle set.

What happened to the old style nipples

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first found out I was receiving these bottles in exchange for my honest review from Stellar Product Testing Panel I was very excited. We had used Avent bottles for our first child 3 years ago and they were our favorites. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. They have changed the design of their nipples and our newest baby just can't seem to get the hang of them after numerous tries. They seem to collapse. He struggled and took a very long time to get through half of a 6 oz bottle. I think the biggest issue is that the flow of the nipple is 1 month. Why send a 1 month flow nipple when the bottle is a large 9 oz bottle?!!! If I'm going to continue using these I'm going to have to try 6 month+ size. That's very unfortunate for those purchasing this set of larger bottles to then have to turn around and buy faster flow nipples! I think that the next size or 2 up should also be included along with this 3 bottle set for more versatility.
Now the good- I love the blue color for our little boy. The bottle is also very easy for little hands to hold on their own which is great since our 7 month old now very much wants to hold it himself. There aren't a lot of pieces to this bottle so they're easy to hand clean or put right in the dishwasher.

The flow rate of milk they get from the nipple is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily they drink as they develop. Enthusiastic drinkers use a strong suction and compression while drinking, resulting in greater milk flow, so they usually need a lower nipple flow from the Natural Response range (such as nipple number 1 or 2) to avoid overflow. Slow and steady drinkers are likely to prefer a higher nipple flow (such as nipple 4 or 5), to ensure enough milk flows, regardless of age. You might need a higher flow if you see your baby struggling to get milk out, or playing with the nipple. Great bottles but depends on nipple shape

These bottles are great, I’ve used them with all three of my kids. The flow is great, no choking, and they hold up well in the dishwasher or with a biter. The one thing I do have to mention is that my kids seem to slightly prefer flat nipples (i guess my nipples must be flat lol) over these rounded ones. While we did have good acceptance of these bottles/nipples, just be aware that if your nipples are slightly flatter or if your kids tend to mush your nipples they may not loveeee these.

A pleasant surprise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by how fast my baby took to this bottle. I have a 7 month old who had been exclusively breastfed fed until this point. We have been wanting to start combo feeding and so we tried these bottles with mixed formula and breast milk. Now in the past he was very picky with bottles - we only found one other that he took to. To our surprise he drank it down right away! So now we use these and have already ordered more. He had an upper lip tie we didn’t choose to correct and this fits him well. I would say this would be best for breast fed babies!
