Great bottles for baby
on April 12, 2022
Posted by: Lisamarie4045
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like these bottles and the natural response nipples. There are only 4 parts to the bottle, and the wide mouth makes it very easy to clean. My baby had no issues with the natural response nipple, and can drink as quickly as he would if he were nursing. Two small downsides - the ergonomic shape makes the bottles a little taller so they dont quite fit in my fridge the same and the natural response nipples really are no-leak (which is great!) but if you have a baby in one hand and are trying to test the temp of milk, it's harder to get out. Overall these are great bottles that we both enjoy using.

Wonderful Bottle
on April 12, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has been breastfed since birth and only uses a bottle on occasion. Because of this, he has been pretty picky about which bottles he will take. He previously only accepted one type of bottle, and I had tried many. I tried this bottle with the #4 natural flow nipple and he took to it immediately and finished the entire bottle with no hesitation. I am very happy that I was able to find this bottle for him. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with these bottles!

Very Lifelike
on April 12, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive these bottles to try by the Seller Product Testing Panel. My twins were almost 8 months when starting to use these and were never breastfed. They still only sleep 4-6 hours at a time at night, so I was eager to see if a different bottle would help as maybe there was some underlying gas or bubble problem. When I received the bottles I was instantly in love with the color! I immediately took them out to wash them and was pleasently surprised with how easy it was since there are only three parts! There is only a very ergonomic bottle that is narrower on the sides plus has thumb and finger grooves which make it easy for both parents and babies to hold. Then besides the bottles you have a ring and nipple. The nipple is very life-like and goes down to a wider base. If you were transitioning from breastfeeding this seems like it would be the perfect bottle and great choice. My babies, however, didn't really care for these bottles. I only was able to get each one to use it once, but the flow seemed good for them. I tried the 1m+ (says 3 on the nipple) which is one of 5 flows these come in giving you a lot of options for your baby . As much as I do love the shape of the bottle, the only negatives for me are that they are shorter and wider, so I can only fit one in the pocket of my diaper bag. I have twins and need two. I also go through a lot of bottles in a day and the rings and nipples take up a lot of room in my current sterilizer. I do recommend these if you only need one bottle to go places or set your bag up different and these might be a must if you transition from breastfeeding instead of starting with bottles.

Why did they change a good thing
on April 12, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the Philip Avent bottles with the size 3 nipple as my son loved the original Philip Avent bottles with the original size 2 nipple. Unfortunately my son did not like the bottles we received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The nipple flow seemed or be difficult for him (he is 6 months old.) On the positive the bottle shape is easy for him to hold as he works on his motor skills. These bottles rarely leak which is a plus! I wish that these nipples were not redesigned because my son loves the older style!
Response from philips.comBy Philips Consumer Care, April 22, 2022
Hi,
Thanks for writing a review regarding the Avent Natural Response Baby Bottles! We are really pleased to hear that your son has been enjoying our Avent products, and hope we can improve his feeding times when using the Natural Response Baby Bottles. A free flow nipple does release milk more easily for your son. However, this may lead to spilling, overfeeding, and your baby not wanting to work for milk when breast feeding. The new Natural Response Nipple requires your baby to use the same drinking pattern they use on the breast, which means the transition between breast and bottle can be made more easily. The flow rate of milk your son receives from the nipple is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily he drinks as he develops. Slow and steady drinkers are likely to prefer a higher nipple flow (such as nipple 4 or 5), to ensure enough milk flows, regardless of age. You can find more tips on this page:https://www.usa.philips.com/c-f/XC000020708/how-to-best-switch-from-the-previous-natural-nipple-to-the-new-natural-response-nipple We hope this helps and your son enjoys the new design soon!

The Best Bottles
on April 12, 2022
Posted by: Wonderful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 9oz Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple, Blue- 3 pack from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. These are by far the best bottles we have tried! The overall design of these bottles is simple and super functional. The wide opening makes them easy to fill and so easy clean with virtually any type of brush or sponge. There are no extra pieces that need to be inserted like other bottle brands - just fill it up screw on the lid with the nipple inserted! We have washed our bottles in the dishwasher several times and they still look brand new and there is no visible fading of the plastic or discoloration of the nipples like we have seen with other bottles in the past. Our son was able to easy latch onto the nipple the first time we used this bottle and he seems to really enjoy drinking out of it. It’s also easy for him to grip his small hands around the curved shape of the bottle. We already purchased more of these bottles in other colors and plan to use this type exclusively going forward!

Helps feeding time flow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received 9oz Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle with natural response nipple 3 pack from Stellar Product Testing Panel. The bottles are easy for my 6 month old to hold. I am happy the no drip nipple works. This makes it easy to travel with. The bottle is super easy to clean with minimal parts to wash and dry. The cap easily slides on and off, too. Avent is a baby brand I trust and know I am not wasting money on.

Great bottle design
on April 12, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very well-designed bottle set. Finding the right bottle for your infant can feel like a search for the holy grail. Our infant son has pretty severe reflux, and it seems like we have tried almost everything. These bottles were an excellent fit for us. I was given this baby bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
The flow of milk from the bottle is very smooth, even with the added rice starch ‘AR’ formula we use that is much thicker than breast milk or other formulas. We had problems of clogging with other brands, and this was less of an issue with these bottles. The flow was also a true ‘medium,’ and paced correctly for our baby. An 8oz bottle takes, on average, 10 minutes for our son to finish and seems to hold his attention better than other bottle types—perhaps because he is better able to control the flow. We didn’t notice any increase in reflux whatsoever using these bottles, which was a relief. Finally, they are very easy to clean with just 3 parts (bottle, ring, and nipple)—we just threw them in the dishwasher and they were ready for use again. The shape of the bottle and nipple are both great, particularly for those switching back and forth between breast and bottle feeding.
My only minor quibble with these bottles is that the clearance at the top of the bottle is a bit limited. If your baby is formula-fed, like ours, and is on more than 6oz per bottle, the bottle can overflow a bit by the time the third or fourth scoop of powder formula is added. We mostly got around this by tapping the bottle gently on the counter after each scoop was added, but the powder formula sometimes still overflowed a little. This is less of an issue of course if your baby is fed breast milk, if they’re eating smaller amounts per bottle, or if you use a formula mixer. The numbers on the side are also a little on the small side and can be hard to read against the blue color of the bottle when you’re half asleep at 3am. Finally, it seemed like it was sometimes hard for our baby to get the last ounce or so of formula out of the bottle, so there was sometimes a little left at the end. This may just be an issue with our thicker rice starch formula, however.
Overall we thought these bottles were high quality, well-designed, comfortable to hold for the caregiver, and most importantly, didn’t make reflux any worse in our baby. The self-paced feeding seemed to hold our baby’s attention better. I also like that Philips Avent has multiple flow options, so if one didn’t work perfectly, one could go up or down in flow speed to match your baby’s preferred feeding pace, without having to buy a whole new bottle set. Overall I would definitely recommend this Philips Avent Natural bottle set.

Comfortable design for feeder
on April 12, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bottle had a comfortable design to hold during feeding. It was straightforward to assemble and cleaned easily in dishwasher and by hand. My little guy wasn't a fan, but thanks Stellar Product Testing panel for letting us give this bottle a shot for my picky little guy.
