Design flaw

I loved these bottles with my first child, so when I had my second child I got another set and have regretted it. The new nipple design has such a slow flow, my kid gets frustrated and gives up on the bottle. I was hoping to be able to pump and switch off overnight feeds with my husband, but definitely can’t until we find a bottle that works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our new Natural Response Nipple lets your baby use their natural drinking rhythm, like they do when breastfeeding. While age is a guide, we recommend watching your little one’s cues to find the best nipple flow. We designed the nipple range to work for all different drinking patterns, from fast and enthusiastic to slow and steady. The Natural Response Nipple is available in nipple flows 1 to 5. The flow rate of milk they get from the nipple is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily they drink as they develop. Enthusiastic drinkers use strong suction and compression while drinking, resulting in greater milk flow, so they usually need a lower nipple flow from the Natural Response range (such as nipple number 1 or 2) to avoid overflow. Slow and steady drinkers are likely to prefer a higher nipple flow (such as nipple 4 or 5) to ensure enough milk flows, regardless of age. You can start with the nipple that comes with the bottle and adjust from there. If after a few feeding attempts you have no success, consider changing to a different nipple flow. You might need a higher flow if you see your baby struggling to get milk out or playing with the nipple.

Baby loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the package, I liked the shape and look of the bottle and it was easy to assemble and use. My 6 month old son took to it really quickly. He grabbed the bottle out of my hands and started gulping it down. He was able to hold it on his own and I could tell he enjoyed his independence. He tried a #3 nipple and it had good flow without being overwhelming. I didn't notice any extra burping of tummy issues after either,
which is something I throw bottles away for after seeing. This is a great bottle, 2 thumbs up from my baby, and I would also recommend it.

Not all nipples work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received one of these in a baby registry box and my kiddo loved them. I bought a three pack but unfortunately one of the nipples just did not work. My baby tried drinking for several minutes before I realized nothing was coming out. I switched nipples to another one in the pack and that one worked.
I like the product, but just be aware you’re gambling when you buy these.

Of course when buying a three pack you should be getting three working products. Have you made sure there's no damage to the one not working? Please do make sure the bottle isn't overtightened as well, as this may cause the issue you're describing.

Phillips Avent Naturel bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bottles were easy to clean and the blue colors are a nice look. We enjoyed using these bottles because they held 9oz of liquid. Most of the time I see 8oz as the largest size. These were easy for my little one to hold himself and was comfortable for us to use as well. I like that these had a wider opening for us to prepare the powder and didn't spill like those narrow bottles. I especially liked the ml/oz printed on the bottles. They sterilized well in our machine as well. My little didn't have any issues prior with bottles and didn't have issues with this one either. The bottle itself felt sturdy and was a quality bottle.

Innovative bottles perfect for breastfed babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design of the new 9oz Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple. The bottle itself is very easy to hold and easy to clean. All you need is the bottle, the white neck, and the nipple. So simple to assemble, even during those middle-of-the-night feeds when you’re trying to make a bottle in the dark.
The Natural Response nipples are “breast like” meaning they have a wide shape, but unlike other brands, these are also no-drip so baby has to be actively working for the milk, like in breastfeeding. Baby controls the speed of the flow, not the bottle. These nipples make the bottles truly unique, and nothing else similar exists on the market.
The nipples come in several sizes so Baby can drink at each stage of oral development while simultaneously staying on track with your breastfeeding journey, whether you’re pumping or supplementing with formula.
I will be recommending these bottles to my friends as we love this new Avent bottle/nipple system.

Wrong measurements !!!

I purchased a teal set and a blue set. I purchased the avent naturals 9oz bottles. The first day I got them I had boiled them to sterilize. I had a different brand bottle already filled with water 4oz. So I poured into the avent and noticed it was almost 4.5 . I panicked thinking this whole time I’ve been feeding my baby with too much powder to water ratio. I poured it into a diff brand bottle and it showed exactly 4 oz. I poured into a measuring cup and it showed 4oz. Poured back into the avent and it showed almost 4.5 oz again !!!! I took several videos because I feel like I must be crazy but nope the measurements are off. There’s no way 3 diff bottles and a measuring cup are off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love these bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Phillips Avent Natural baby bottle set as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. These bottles are fantastic. They have a wider nipple that makes them easy to clean and there are no tiny hard to clean crevices. The bottle itself also curves slightly inward toward the middle making it easier and more ergonomic for both baby and you to grab. Assembly is simple with just 3 pieces; the bottle itself, the lid, and the nipple. Saving the best for last, these bottles are no drip. I'm not talking just says no drip on the box either, these are legitimately no drip. The natural response nipple (which you can get in 5 different flow rates)only releases liquid when the baby is actively drinking from the bottle, similar to breastfeeding, allowing for baby to take a break or catch their breath without the milk or formula pouring in their mouth. This feature is also perfect for babies who like to play with their bottle. No drip, no worry, no mess.
