These new style nipples do NOT work! Ive had to use the same ones that i bought second hand because absolutely NOTHING comes out of the new batch ones! Its ridiculous that ive tried just about every number and its all the same results! Waste of money and effort! Sadly these are the only bottles my baby likes .. with the old nipples of course.

Hi Momejay,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. This is not the experience we wish your baby had with our Natural nipples. We would like to inform you that our Natural Response Nipple is available in nipple flows 1 to 5. Please be informed that it may take some time for your baby to adjust from a traditional nipple to a Natural Response Nipple. We would like to assist you further with your concern.
Please get in touch via Social Media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your review, and we're sorry to hear that your Philips Avent Natural Response Baby Bottle is leaking.
We would like to inform you that incorrect assembly causes leakage in 50% of cases. Please ensure that the nipple is properly inserted through the screw ring and securely tightened on the bottle without being overtightened. Wet glass bottles can be particularly difficult to close as they may slip. Therefore, it is best to dry the bottle before closing it. You may also find more information on how to prevent leakage by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjytab_9-hU.
We hope this helps address the problem. If the problem persists, please reach out to us via social media. We are available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). If you do not use social media, you can also reach us through the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.

Extremely finicky, do not buy
on October 2, 2024

Nipples are extremely finicky and most of the time baby won't get any milk. Philips doesn't tell you how to properly assemble the bottles. You need to align the notch on the plastic ring with the notch on the silicone nipple. You also should have the nipple notch either up or down when feeding, not sideways (Philips doesn't give any instructions). Even doing so half of the time baby won't get anything. This morning my baby fed 1oz in 15 minutes with the size 2 nipple, which is the perfect rate for her. I stopped to burp her and after that she couldn't get any more milk for over 30 minutes (clearly not a problem with assembly, with nipple size, or with baby; just that the nipples are finicky). I tried 2 other Avent bottles and the same thing happened with all of them

Incorrect nipple size based on the description
on October 21, 2024
Posted by: notDone

The product description says medium nipple for 3 - 6 months. From the section of choose right nipple size for your baby, Flow 4 is for 3m+ baby. But guess what the bottle comes with a Flow 3 which is 1m+. While the product is satisfactory, the information is very deceiving. So bare in mind that for your 3 months old baby you will have to buy separate nipples that is Flow 4.

Nipples are horrible and baby can’t get milk put

The old style natural nipples were great but these new natural response ones are terrible. My newborn baby sucks and sucks on a level 4 nipple and get 10ml out in 20 minutes. She loves the wide nipple but becomes so frustrated with her inability to get milk out.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your review with us. We're sorry to hear about your experience with the Philips Avent Natural Response Baby Bottle. We've designed our new nipple to mimic breastfeeding, allowing your baby to drink, swallow, and breathe naturally.
Milk only flows when your baby actively drinks, which means they’re always in control of the flow and can feed and pause comfortably.
If your baby is already used to the previous Natural nipple, or even another traditional bottle, they may need a higher nipple flow in the Natural Response nipple because they are used to milk flowing quickly with less effort.
It may be difficult for them to adjust to it at first, so try introducing the bottle when your baby is calm.
The Natural Response teat is available in teat flows 1 to 6. Teat 6 is more suitable for thicker liquids or babies who want a fast flow.
If the issue persists, please get in touch via Social Media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.
