Recreating the breastfeeding experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive nursed my little one ever since she was born and the journey to transition her to the bottle has been all but easy. Philip Avent Natural baby bottle has been wonderful to help her get accustomed to feeding from a bottle.
From the shape to the features of the bottle nipple, I love that it recreates the experience as if she were at the breast. Its unique and innovative opening responds to the drinking motion of her tongue so milk is only released when shes actively drinking. When she pauses to swallow, the milk stops flowing. She controls the pace, just like breastfeeding. She also likes to play and throw the bottle all around so the no drip nipple helps to make feeds mess-free!

Looks amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am due for my second little one very soon, so I was very excited to receive these bottles. This time, I plan to both breastfeed and bottlefeed and wanted the best chance to do it right! Receiving these bottles will help me do just that! On first looks, I am impressed with their design. They look like they will serve me well for a long time, especially since they are a larger bottle size. They are simple design, but the no drip nipple seems like it will be great for feeding! I look forward to trying these out in only a few short weeks with my newborn!

The best bottle!

Flawed Design

You have to close the bottle JUST right for it to seal. Otherwise you will find yourself changing your baby out of a milk soaked onesie in the middle of the night. We’ve had to make a habit of testing the leakage before each feed. User error perhaps, but it happens enough to warrant this review.

Bad nipple shape

These nipples encouraged biting, not good for moms trying to breastfeed and bottle feed. The nipple should be longer to get deeper into the baby's mouth. Also frustrating that these nipples aren't interchangeable with the plastic Avent bottles.

Easy tearing though cleaning after one month

I am not sure how to avoid the tearing of the nipple hole. Three nipples total already got a crack when we only cleaned with our hands (pinkie finger). I kept thinking my baby doesn't want to drink only to find out the nipple was broken again. He was thirsty but got splattered with milk through the big opening. I am glad I noticed and had ordered spares. He finally drank after I switched the nipple to a new one! How can I avoid the tearing? I need to clean the inside of the tip since it gets oily!
