Great overall bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried this bottle out with our youngest. He is 3 months old and was premature. He had some struggles with breastfeeding in the beginning and we are currently feeding about 50/50 breast and bottle. We had previously used the same bottles from the hospital but are finding this bottle to be a better fit for us overall.
The bottle has a great shape making it easy and comfortable to hold and the measurement markings are very clear. Washing is a breeze with just 3 parts (four if you're using the cap for travel) every second counts when you've got 3 kids running around! The wider mouth and base are great if you're trying to pour one handed while juggling a baby and/or toddler.
The wide base shape of the nipple is perfect for going between breast and bottle. We've had no latch issues. The bottle came with a flow 3 nipple, rated for 0+ months. We also received a pack of flow 2 nipples, rated for 1+ months. Our son seemed to struggle a bit with the flow 2 and took longer than usual to finish. He seemed to be well in control with the flow 3 nipple, he wasn't frustrated or overwhelmed. Neither of the nipples drip if the bottle tips.

Good Bottle and Nice Nipples

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but that hasn’t had any affect on my review.
This bottle works exactly like you think and want a bottle to.
The bottle is very easy to hold on to thanks to the ergonomic shape and the nipple design is perfect for pacing your little one while eating. I found when using the bottle my little one actually latched and seemed to eat better thanks to the wider no drip nipple. It was also very easy to clean since the nipples are wider and it has less pieces then or other bottles.
Will definitely be using these bottles as my little one grows and highly recommend them.

Good Bottle for Baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 month old, primarily breastfed baby, is often pretty finicky with bottle types; however, he took to this one well after a bit of adjustment. We usually use an “anti-colic” bottle, so I wasn’t sure if this one would work, but the nipple design means he’s able to control his flow better than other nipple styles and was able to drink comfortably from it. We typically use paced feeding with bottles, and I found that I don’t have to worry quite so much about pacing the feed with this style. I do think he got frustrated with the 0+ flow (as we tried the 3mo+ nipple set, sold separately, and he had much greater success). I appreciate how easy the bottle is to hold, and that it’s wide, so now if my baby (who’s older!) wants to feed himself, he can. The bottle is also super easy to clean and assemble!

Easy Baby Feed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple was easy to use, and the design of the bottle was simple to hold while feeding my baby. One thing that I noticed from this bottle compared to others was that it was easier to heat when warming a bottle to feed my child. When I, as the father, have heated other bottles in the past, that have a thicker or silicone shell, they are harder to heat and temperature regulate. Whereas, this bottle was more easily able to be warmed, and I could get it to my child quickly. In all honesty, we didn’t notice much difference between feeding styles with this bottle versus others. Our son appeared to take breastmilk from this bottle similar to other brands and nipple styles. Our son was able to drink from this bottle easily and didn’t appear to be affected by nipple shape and design. However, we have noticed that nipple flow rates have dramatically altered how he is able to take breastmilk recently. With increased flow rate, feeding times have decreased, and he has had less gas as he is taking in less air while feeding. Cleaning these bottles were easy; however, I did need to use a bottle cleaning brush as my hands are too large to reach down inside the bottle. Other brands, I have been able to use a separate sponge and quickly clean them, but this bottle simply takes an extra step. However, if the bottle was wider, it would be much more difficult to hold while feeding my child. Therefore, it is a simple trade off:) All in all, we liked the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple as they were easy to fill, pack, and send to daycare, and the solid plastic shell allowed for the bottle, not to bend, slip, and fall from my hand. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle.

Fantastic bottle for breastfed baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phillips Avent Natural Baby Bottle is loved by both my baby and myself! My baby gets bottles when I’m at work and nurses on demand whenever he is with me, so I was initially very worried that he would decide eating from a bottle was easier and start refusing to nurse. Thankfully with the slow flow nipple, that is not the case, and he can pause to breathe while drinking. He happily eats from whichever option is available and seems to like the nipple’s wide shape. The bottle design makes it easy to hold while feeding him, and I love that there are only four parts to wash. The only downside of the bottle assembly is how difficult it is to remove the cap when the top isn’t screwed on a bottle. We were so happy to receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have recommended it to several other people in my mom’s group!

Great bottle Check the flow rate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out with my 5 month old. We had a great experience with this bottle! I’ve used several different brands and liked few and far between but this bottle worked great for us!
My baby took to it right away even though he’s primarily directly breastfeeding. The wide shape and feel of the nipple was very natural feeling and my baby didn’t loose suction or pull away from it.
It’s also very easy to clean compared to your average bottle because it’s a wider bottle to match the nipple so I could get my hand down in it without a bottle brush.
The recommended flow for his age was a bit much. We sized down on the flow and though the faster flow clearly overwhelmed him about 2 sizes down was right in line with his natural rate of consumption. He can tend to be a more passive eater than some babies though.
All in all this was a great product and I highly recommend it and checking to make sure you get the correct flow rate cuz that really can make a difference!

Great for Exclusively Breastfed Baby with Reflux

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set. We have an almost exclusively breastfed 9 month old. He’s had bad reflux since he was born and we’ve never been able to get him to drink more than a half an ounce from a bottle (and that’s hours into trying). We’ve tried giving him so many different bottles numerous times but he’s always refused him. He now uses sippy cups for all other beverages but we still have a hard time getting him to take milk from anything other than the breast so we were more than happy to test out a bottle but our hopes/expectations were low. I was very happy he enjoyed this one even if it’s just for chewing (he doesn’t like pacifiers either). We were actually able to get him to drink about 2.5 oz from them a few times which is amazing for us. He also didn’t seem to have any reflux after. They seem pretty durable, especially considering how often he throws things. This is better than any other bottle we’ve tried though. I have a pretty strong flow and he didn’t get frustrated having to work with the nipple so the flow seemed good for him. The nipple shape makes them a little easier to clean than others we’ve tried. Overall a great bottle. The best we’ve tried for our little one so far.
