Philips Avent for the Win

Where has this bottle been all my life, well the last 6 weeks!? The bottle is amazing. I was skeptical at first about how something so simple would work as good as our other bottles, but it surpassed my expectations.
We have a 5-6 week old little boy and have been using another brand of anti-colic bottle. My wife was a NICU nurse and that is what the used at the hospital so that is what we decided to use and they worked great but the formula flows freely which led to some occasional choking. There were also a lot of pieces per bottle, which takes a long time to disassemble, clean, and reassemble.
The Philips Avent bottle with Natural Response Nipple is a life and time saver. Its 3 piece design is easy to clean and assemble. I especially like the no drip design and anti-colic valve. Even when I hold it upside down and shake it, nothing comes out.
Our baby can drink at his own rate without formula constantly dripping and this significantly reduces him choking especially when he's tired and during dream feeds. The Natural Response Nipple only flows when he's latched on and sucking. The wide nipple shape makes it very easy to latch on and the ergonomic bottle shape is easy to hold.
I also like that they offer a variety of nipple flow rates, bottle sizes, colors and even glass bottles.
We will definitely be switching over to the Philips Avent bottle with Natural Response Nipple going forward.

My favorite bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avent has been my favorite bottle brand for many years, I used them almost exclusively with my oldest 16 years ago. So I was very excited when Stellar Panel sent me an Avent Natural bottle with the #3 nipple to try. I love the lightweight design, he’s already able to hold it by himself at 3 months for a few seconds. It’s very easy to clean and the texture of the nipple makes him eager to take it. We did find that the #3 nipple that came with the bottle was a bit too fast for his preference, but the #2 nipple in this brand (also sent to me free from Stellar for review) was just right for him.
The bottle is easy to pack and wash without a lot of extra parts or crevices, but it also doesn’t leak at all if the lid is in place, which is very nice. And it fits inside a standard bottle warmer which ended up being important for us as well.
I also really like the sleek, minimal design that is gender neutral and doesn’t clash with most aesthetics.
My only suggestion for improvement would be either using the lower flow nipple standard with the bottle instead of the #3 or including extra in the lower flow with the bottle itself. Otherwise I could not be happier with this product.

Great for combo feeding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for a baby bottle that works great, even for combo feeding, try the Philips Avent Natural bottles! My 5 month old breastfeeds, but also gets a bottle as needed. The nipple’s wide shape and responsive tip make it easy to go from bottle to breast and back. again. Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I noticed right away the nipple doesn’t drip milk or formula the way other bottles do. My son had to be sucking for the milk to flow. It seems like he had good control of the flow of milk with this bottle. We do both breast feeding and bottle feeding, this seems like a good bottle to support both because of the way the flow works. At five months old, my son is starting to hold the bottle on his own. The shape of these bottles make them easy for him to hold. I definitely recommend the Philips Avent bottles!

Highly Recommend for Breast Fed Baby

Highly recommend trying this bottle for your breast fed baby. We have tried several bottle that our baby end up not like but she took to this one the first time we used it! The bottle is very comfortable to hold, light weight and clearly shows measurements. We are using the slowest flow and it is working well right now (7 weeks) but I think we will move up to a faster flow soon. There are only 3 parts so this bottle is very easy to clean and sanitize!

Great for my breastfeed baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby responded well to the Phillips Avent Bottle with Natural Response Nipple. She's 4 months old and breastfed. The Natural Response Nipple works similarly to nursing. The milk lets down when she's actively sucking and stops when she does to allow her to breathe and drink at her own pace. I liked the shape of the bottles because they are easy to hold, clean, and put together. Plus, they hold a 9 oz of milk and will grow with our baby as she takes more milk at each feeding. It was an enjoyable experience for both Mom and Baby. I would highly recommend these bottles based on the natural milk flow and ease of cleaning, especially to nursing mothers!

Great bottles for EBF babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bottles were tested on my breastfed baby while I returned to work. The nipple's wide shape was unique and my baby had no issues with it. My baby is able to control the pace of milk flow isomg these bottles more than others we’ve experimented with. The design, though basic, is very well thought out! The bottles were extremely easy to assemble and clean and the ergonomic shape was comfortable to hold!

Found THE ONE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel I received this bottle nipple set. The pack included 3 9oz bottles with size 3 natural response nipples recommended for 1 month and older. I also received a pack of 2 size 4 natural response nipples that are recommended for 3 months and older. The first thing I did was wash and sterilize them. They were very easy to take apart and clean. I pumped and poured my breastmilk in the bottle. The measurements that come in ounces and milliliters are very accurate. My 6 month old, who is exclusively breastfed and has only had a bottle a handful of times, surprisingly took it quickly. I tried the size 3 nipple first, but he preferred the size 4 nipple. I noticed that the way the nipple is shaped it fits in his mouth the way my nipple would. I have tried a few other brands trying to find a bottle that he liked and I finally found it. Since he is controlling the pace it’s similar to the breast. As I was giving him the bottle he wanted to hold it himself and with the bottle design he was able to do it. I also loved the fact that he fell asleep and the bottle rolled next to him with some milk left over and it didn’t spill a single drop on the bed! I found the perfect bottle for my breastfed baby.
