Easy to use and baby likes it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice bottle set with thoughtful details that I really appreciate. First, it is shaped like a long, skinny hourglass, so it is nice to hold and doesn't get knocked over easily. The shape makes it easy to put it in the side pocket of my diaper bag because it is skinny enough to easily slide in, shapely enough to not fall out, and tall enough to not get stuck under the pocket's edge. It holds quite a bit of formula (9 oz) without feeling big and bulky. The best part is it attaches to my breast pump without any additional attachments - it must be a standard size. The only slightly annoying thing about it is the number of measurements it has on the side: US oz, UK oz, and ml. I've never seen a bottle with multiple oz types, and the difference is TINY. It is sometimes hard to tell what I'm looking for at night, but it is not enough to lose a star - I don't need to be that precise. Great new and improved bottle shape

I absolutely loved the improved shape and design of this bottle! We have always been very loyal Philips Avent bottle users. Other than occassional issues with minor leakes in the old design, we've always been very pleased.
I am so excited to report back that this new style seems to have eradicated the leaking issue as we have not experienced a single link the past month of using them. I like the slimmer shape as it makes it easier to hold onto (and also for my daughter to now hold).
The bottle breaks down and cleans easily. It does fit within the Philip's microwave steamer and has held up well through mulitple sterilizations. I also found that this design seemed to have less issues with occasional residue or condensation after sterilization, which led to less need for wiping down the bottles. Highly recommend this bottle!

The Best Bottle I Have Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set with Natural Response Nipple from Stellar Product Testing Panel and I absolutely love these bottles! My exclusively breastfed baby had zero issues when he started to use these bottles! They fit well in cupholder, baby bags, and bottle warmers. My baby could even hold the bottle easily on his own due to the shape of the bottle. One of my favorite features is that the nipple doesn't leak, even when held upside down! I also love the ease of putting the pieces of the bottle together and taking them apart. The top is difficult to get off when disassembling the bottle, but if you take the top off first it shouldn't be an issue. All parts were very easy to clean. Since my baby was 10 months old when we received the bottles, we went with the size 4 nipple and he did just fine with that flow. We purchased the size 5 to see if that was better but that was too much for him.

Just what the baby needs

Being a mom who mostly breastfeeds, it is very important for me to have a bottle my baby will actually take. The Phillips Avent Natural bottle is a great bottle for my baby who needed something to be similar to the breast. The nipple is wide and soft, my baby had no objections with drinking milk out of it the first time we tried this bottle. The flow of the milk was right on track with his age. The bottle never leaks milk and leaves the baby clean. The bottle shape and texture is very modern and slick, fits right into the bottle pocket of my diaper bag and purse. The ounce markings on the bottle are easy to read. One thing I would change is including a cap for the bottles for on the go.

Trust the classics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I think about Avent bottles I think of classic, boring and old style bottles…well it’s better if I say “used to think”, because my mind has been changed and blown!
I’ve loved everything about these bottles! From the easiness to wash and assemble to the fact that I can prepare an 8oz bottle of formula and not have it all spill out when the powder is added (which happens with the ones I was using).
While the nipple flow that comes with the bottles (3) was a bit slow for my 6 months old, I loved the fact that she could control the flow of milk. The only downside about this is that if you want to test the temperature of the milk you’ll need to squeeze the nipple for something to come out…so yeah, the spill proof nipple definitely works!
My daughter took on this bottle with no fuss after being breastfed exclusively for 5 months and only being used to one type of bottles. One thing we noticed was that there was no milk dripping out of her mouth (common with the other bottles). The shape also made it very easy for her to hold the bottle and “self feed”.
With the size 4 nipple these bottles were absolutely the perfect addition to our lives!

Great for newborns and beyond

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Natural Bottle has been a winner in my house. My 21 month old still drinks milk from a bottle and loves this bottle. My one month old took to this bottle fairly easily and the responsive tip feature on the nipple is a game changer. It allows my baby to only take in milk when she is actively sucking on the nipple, which is a huge safety feature for me. I love that this bottle only comes in three easy to assemble pieces that are dishwasher safe. With four kids under the age of 5, I don’t have to to scrub bottles all day. Thanks, Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bottle set. Philips Avent products are always top notch.

Best Bottle on the Market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a second time mom, I now know a little more than I did the first go around. With my first, we cast a wide net and tried several different bottles, quickly realizing Avent was the winner hands down! We still feel the same for round two.
We were given these bottles as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and couldn’t be more thrilled. We love the lightweight ergonomic design, making them easy to hold while maintaining an overall clean and sleek aesthetic, which this mama appreciates.
The simple wide neck design makes cleaning a breeze, and you don’t have to fuss with numerous parts. Our baby girl had been exclusively breast fed up until this point and we were looking for an opportunity for dad to give her a bottle every now and then. She took to this in no time and seemed to handle the flow well. If anything it may have started a little too slow as she is used to an over productive and abundant source from mama.
We have had no issues with nipple confusion and she hasn’t rejected either the breast or bottle. We’re confident in the responsive tip and it’s help in a smooth introduction to a bottle. It has given us some comfort knowing our baby girl can take a bottle if needed.
Avent is continually the bottle we grab. Our happy and well fed kiddos speak volumes to these bottles!

Breastfeed baby takes bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited when I received this Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set with Natural Response Nipple (9 oz) baby bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I currently breastfeed my 9 month old and also started supplementing her with pumped breast milk for some feedings. We’ve used so many different brands of bottles, and I think this one is my favorite.
The bottle design was well thought out. I love that the bottle has a wide neck and nipple shape, which makes it extremely easy to clean. I think the wide nipple helps mimic the breast; therefore, my 9 month old took the bottle right away without a fuss. I was afraid the bottle would alter my daughter’s latch, but she still latches on properly to breastfeed. The bottle slims down in the middle, which makes it easier for us to hold as well as my baby trying to hold her own bottle.
The nipples that came with the bottles are flow size 3 (1+ months). My daughter was exclusively breastfed until recently; therefore, I think she actually likes the slower flow rate. Since my daughter is 9 months now, I definitely would like to try a higher flow rate to see if she prefers that better than the current one.
My husband and I both love the bottle. It doesn’t leak like other bottles we’ve tried. The only downfall about being leak-proof is that it’s hard to test the temperature of the milk in the bottle by shaking it out. Other bottles, you can just shake it and the milk will drop onto the back of your wrist. For the Philips Avent bottles, you have to squeeze the nipple for the milk to drip out to test heated milk temperatures.
Overall, I would recommend this bottle. I really like that it doesn’t leak and waste all my precious breast milk. It’s super easy to clean. A good bottle is one your baby will drink from, and my baby takes this bottle; therefore, it’s good for us.
