LOVE this bottle

He’s currently 8mo and just started trying to hold the bottle on his own, and having a plastic bottle means it’s light weight enough for him to hold, which is great! We were using the glass version of this bottle previously, and really Iiked it - except for the weight of the bottles. I actually like the plastic one better. I also found the nipple/ring seals better on the plastic than on the glass - less leaks! Woo hoo! My boy really prefers the wide nipples over narrow nipples, maybe because he’s also a breastfed baby - my older kid hated wide nipples but wasn’t breastfed at all, so who knows, each kid is different but that might have something to do with it. I love that it’s a no-drip tip, especially since he’s trying to hold it himself and often turns it upside down looking at or playing with the bottle. My other bottles that I used with my older son would’ve leaked all over - I used to tip the other bottles to check the temp of the milk on my wrist because they leaked out of the tip, but I have to stick my finger in the bottle to check the temp before putting in the nipple with this bottle because it won’t leaks out of the top at all. I like that it’s more of a paced feeding style nipple, which seems to have helped with spit up. As for ease of cleaning, this bottle is super eaay, only three pieces, no extra vents or other internal parts to clean. Not totally sure how they did it - and every once in a while I find there’s an air build up in the bottle that loosens the cap and can cause spills. That’s one negative for me and lost this bottle a star. I do find that if, when I’m putting the cap on, I turn the cap the wrong way first until it clicks down into the groove, and then turn it the right way, it seems to attach better. I also will open and re-close it if I hear a whining or bubbling sound coming from the bottle, which happens if the trapped air issue occurs.
Overall, I really like this bottle. And so does my baby - enough that, after getting one bottle to review, I just bought a full set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After exclusively breastfeeding my baby we transition to breast and bottle feeding. She would not take a bottle and we tried several different brands. Philips Avent bottle and nipple set has a great design that allows for pages during sucking and feeding. The nipple provides a surface area that mimics what she was used to during breastfeeding. The no drip tip is great to manage spills when the bottle is still inverted while baby takes a break. The bottle and nipple are easy to clean and made of quality materials. The different flow rates provide the opportunity to manage drinking speed to decrease the amount of amount of air that can be sucked in if the flow is not manageable for baby. Thank you Stellar product testing for providing this bottle and nipple set.

A bigger bottle that fits in the diaper bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall design of the bottle. It is easy and comfortable to hold. It is skinnier in the middle which gives me a better grip, and the wide nipple shape helps mimic the breast. My daughter is no longer nursing, but she prefers wide neck bottles. Because she's no longer nursing, this nipple flow level wasn't right for her. She needed a higher flow for sure. I can tell that she just didn't want to work as much for milk, and she wanted it faster. I wish we started with this bottle set and the natural response nipple (but a higher flow) when my daughter was born because I think it would have helped her naturally pace feed, which I personally found harder to do manually.
I love that this bottle has fewer pieces to clean. The wide neck also makes it easier to clean. I run a sanitizer load on my dishwasher every night, and the wide neck gives me peace of mind that the dishwasher is getting all the crevices clean. Another benefit to the wide neck is that even though this is a 9oz bottle, it's shorter than other 9oz bottles we've tried. Others are too tall and can't fit in the bottle compartment of our diaper bag. This one easily fits in the bag, and we have no trouble zipping it up.
I'm not sure if it works with all breast pumps, but I was also able to hook the bottle directly to my pump flange and pump right into it. Great for on the go feedings when baby won't nurse!

Easy to use and easy to wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My initial thought when I removed when I removed the bottle from the package was is it was really easy to hold with one hand. Which as a parent is really important because there are several times we have a baby moving around while trying to feed. As a busy parent I loved and appreciated that the bottle was very easy to disassemble and wash with very minimal parts to clean. I loved that the numbers on the side were large enough to read during night time feeding. This bottle fit perfect in the side pocket of the diaper bag, making it easy to pack on the go and not once did it leak. My daughter has always used the same bottles from day 1 so I was nervous switching things up on her at 7 months, but she did great with these bottles. She was able to control the flow of her milk and the ergonomic shape made it easy for her to hold it on her own from the start.

Perfect bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom who is returning back to work exclusively breast-feed I was so terrified to give my daughter a bottle but after I receive this one for free I am absolutely in love with that I’ve invested in bottles and this one! She absolutely loves it the nipple is soft and gives or just the right amount of flow for her feed. The bottle is easy for her to hold as well and easy to clean for me perfect overall must have!

Let me start of by letting you know that the Philips Advent bottle is a great choice for all new and seasoned parents like myself. I love this bottle. So many things I like about it. The design of the bottle makes it so easy to wash. That’s important because we all know that can turn into a constant pain when a bottle has so many parts to wash. Let’s not forget the convenience of the wide neck of the bottle. For once I was able to put formula in a bottle without dropping any or making a mess. With this formula shortage going on every bit of formula I can save without dropping is important to me so the wide neck is a major plus. My daughter really likes the wide nipple and she’s able to control the flow of the milk during feedings. Which means I don’t have to be worried about her choking on her milk like she did with her previous bottles. I am super pleased that there are options for different nipple flows. My baby is not always ok with the nipple that comes with the bottles. Being able to have options and find the right nipple flow for her was so helpful and appreciated. As a mom of four I highly recommend you give this bottle a try. It’s so easy to assemble and wash. No more dealing with having to wash lots of bottle parts or assembling of multiple bottle parts. Thank you Philips for an awesome bottle.

We absolutely love the Phillips Avent natural brand bottles and the convenience of being able to select a flow that works best for our baby girl. The ergonomic design made it easy to hold and helped baby learn to grasp it herself. Our little one is gassy so she needs anti-colic bottles. We absolutely LOVE that these bottle don’t have a ton of pieces to assemble/clean. Just bottle, nipple, collar, and lid. The wide shape of the nipple also helped to make cleaning easy a d even when the wide shape it still provided a baby controlled flow. No drips when held upside down! This bottle came with a flow 3 nipple and it is the perfect flow for our 5 month old. Highly recommend!
