Yes I bought a new 5200, because it will be a gift. I bought it because the one I have been using every day is 24 years old.! I think I replaced one part. It is the most excellent powerful blender, there is no others that can compete.

Powerful and quality build but prefer my prior blender, Ninja BL610, which has staggered blades that did a better job crushing frozen fruits and hard veggies and mixing evenly protein powder.
