This is my second Vitamix and I am so pleased with the improvements to the design of the container and top. My first Vitamix is about 20 years old and still working fine except for the variable speed. It quit working a while back and I finally decided to get a new one. I am keeping the old one, too. We use it everyday to make our nutrition packed breakfast smoothie. Great for so many other things, as well. I could never do without a Vitamix on my kitchen counter!
I ordered the new one online and it was delivered quickly. I would highly recommend the Vitamix to anyone. It is a workhorse and so well made!

I was nervous about investing this much in a blender. But, after going through 4 blenders in 5 years, I finally made the decision to bite the bullet and get a blender that's more substantial. I use a blender every single day, often, twice a day, so getting something that would last was important to me.
I don't often splurge, so I did significant research before purchasing my Vitamix. After seeing the glowing reviews, and the capabilities of this blender, I made my choice. I was mixed with excitement while also begrudgingly making the payment.
I can confidently say, after using my Vitamix for several weeks now, this is hands down one of the best purchases I've ever made! This thing is amazing! My smoothies are insanely smooth - no kale stuck in MY teeth! And, being a vegan, I often blend various nuts and other ingredients to make pasta sauces. Before owning my Vitamix, I would have to make a decision between two options if I forgot to soak my cashews for four hours - either not make that sauce, or have really chunky sauce. Well, not anymore! This blender makes incredibly smooth sauces even if I fail at meal planning.
This, at least for me, is a life-changing blender, without a doubt!
