I own a Blendtech and I wanted to try something new. I did a lot of research before buying my Vitamix 5200. It blew my mind how the smoothie came out so creamy compared to its competition. For whole juices it's about the same but the Vitamix is much faster. It took half the time to do my Beet, carrot, apple juice. The 5200 is a great blender. So glad I purchased this.
Pros: Texture Quality, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Product features, Power
The machine is okay- the quality of materials used now has changed - the same model vitamix I purchased about 15 years ago was better made, in my opinion.
I bought this vitamix a few months ago and we have no complaints. It is much better than our previous blender and the thing I enjoy the most is the QUICK cleanup. I just fill up the canister half way, add a few drops of dawn, run it for about a minute and the container is quickly self cleaned!
I've been using this type of blender for over a few years already and I absolutely love it! I use it every day. This is the best blender I have used out of all the other ones I have purchased. It blends the items every well even if they are frozen!
I bought this blender because my roommate had one and loved it so much. She used it to make all her vegan food. I got it and it's great too. Very powerful. Sometimes my smoothies aren't super smooth though, especially if I add in raw ingredients
I have been a Vitamix customer for 22 years, so I can write with confidence. I’ve tried other high speed blender brands, and their quality and safety does not compare to Vitamix. Don’t waste your money on other brands. This one blender does it all and more! I love the smoothies and soups, but I also make lots of cheese and sauces. It’s powerful and gets things done. I highly recommend getting an additional canister. I’ve got both shapes, because the narrow canister does better for smaller batches. (I’m cooking for two)
Pros: Speed of Service, Durability, Easy to use, Power
