I bought my vitamix over 10 years ago and I love it! Before I kept breaking blender bases when making smoothies, but I’ve never had any problems with this one. It is the best! I never buy hummus, it turns out super smooth.

My family has had this Vitamix for 15 years!! It still runs perfectly! One time the tamper was the wrong size and got mixed up in the blender and it was ruined. We called the Vitamix company and they sent us a new tamper!

Got the Classic 5200 and am so glad I took the leap and spend more money on a vitamix! It is a huge difference in blend quality compared to the cheap blenders I have been using. it is very powerful and looks like very high build quality. Hoping this blender will last me for a while! So far so good!

Love my 5200!!

I recently bought a new 5200 to replace my old machine, from 2009 that was damaged from misuse & out of warranty. I spent a lot of time researching which model to get next - reading reviews and talking with Vitamix customer service agents. Nearly all of my research led me the new & improved models, such as the A2300. However, in the end, I stuck with my gut & went with my tried & true, first & only Vitamix love, the 5200. The biggest factor weighing my decision is that my friend got the A2300 - and I was able to “try it before you buy it.” I did not like the wider, larger container (even though it fits under cabinets) I realized the narrower container (same volume size) would fit my needs much better as I am primarily cooking for just myself. The newer, wider container requires more volume to get the ingredients moving. Additionally, I also realized the 5200 is a much simpler machine to use - on/off and variable/high buttons. The features of the newer models were not relevant to my needs, so I stuck with the old school design. I couldn’t be happier with my decision & don’t know how I spent the last several years without it. I also received a credit for sending in my old machine - which is a neat program - great way to recycle the old machine while making the new one more affordable. I love my Vitamix!

Great but could be better!

This was my first vitamix blender. It was definitely more powerful than other blenders but it overheated very quickly.
