After our mid-range blender broke, we decided to invest in the Vitamix, hoping it would last significantly longer. We are really enjoying how well our Vitamix works for making very smooth smoothies, as well as homemade soymilk and grinding up oats for oat flour. We use our Vitamix almost everyday and it has not disappointed us!
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Power

I was just going to get the container, but I noticed the red Vitamix blender. I have had my black one for 4 years and it just keeps on working great. I love my smoothies for breakfast. It’s better than what you buy in the smoothie stores. I have made cauliflower soup with it. Very easy to do and tastes great. The red is gorgeous too!

love my vitamix. It definitely is not the same weight and quality as the "old" vitamixes but still does a great job. I really dont like how the cord is stored on the bottom very ackward to use.

We use our Vitamix almost daily and sometimes more than once a day. Couldn't live without it, as we do a lot of home made meals. This is our second Vitamix.

It has its limitations, and you should be aware of them before using it for anything. Also, invest in the blade scraper and the dry foods container will run you a pretty penny, but it’s needed. Overall, recommend getting the shorter container so your base is wider, but that just means more $$$. Don’t know if I’ve found it worth the expense yet, but it’s far more powerful than my last blender which was practically worthless.
