Fast service, received my blender 3 days after ordering. And, this was the last of December! Everything was in good condition. Very easy to set up and manual was very helpful for a newbie, like me! Recipes in the book that came with it have been easy to follow. I have never had a blender so powerful. I no longer have bits of fruit, vegetables, or ice in my smoothies. They are so smooth now! I am looking forward to learning new recipes and techniques with my 5200.

I bought this over 7yrs ago. This thing is a no frills workhorse. I traded (up?) for a newer model since I got a good deal and I was sick of this not fitting under my counter (can buy a low profile pitcher but they are expensive). I don't like that the new self detect pitchers don't fit on this one.

After our mid-range blender broke, we decided to invest in the Vitamix, hoping it would last significantly longer. I was just going to get the container, but I noticed the red Vitamix blender. I have had my black one for 4 years and it just keeps on working great. I love my smoothies for breakfast. It’s better than what you buy in the smoothie stores. I have made cauliflower soup with it. Very easy to do and tastes great. The red is gorgeous too!
