I purchased my first 5200 over 8 years ago. I’d always wanted one but never wanted to spend that much for a blender. I actually had an old one with the stainless container that I had gotten rid of with our really trying it. ( so sorry I did that). I use my blender daily and love the versatility. I like it so much I found another one to keep at our cabin and it will now go camping with us.

Blends very well, and it's not too loud. My only complaint is that water gets trapped in the handle during washing. Once it's set upright, the water dribbles out onto whatever surface it's set on.

This is a powerful machine that blends to a smooth consistency. Just make sure you put in your ingredients in the correct order. Always ice on the TOP! This way everything is blended the way it should be, otherwise the ice may get stuck in the blades if you put the ice in first. I love it and use it just about every day. Also, customer service is wonderful.

Does a great job of blending And crumbling. Also easier to handle than other store bought blenders. The only reason I gave it four stars is that my sister has the 6300 and I like her knob controls better than mine.

Love this machine. I sent my original Vitamix (20years old) to college with my daughter and treated myself to a new one. I prefer this model because I tried the cheaper one with Pulse feature but DID NOT like. This is used practically every day!!
