This model blender perfectly suits the needs of my family. We FINALLY have smooth smoothies! I have made smoothies, marinara sauce, cream soup and a sherbet-like dessert so far. I am so happy we got the vitamix! Our daughter is unable to eat solid food, however she can eat purées! Vitamix allows me to blenderize her food so smooth that she can enjoy what we are eating aswell. It also allows me to feed our foods we eat through her feeding tube. I dilute the foods with a broth, water or milk until desired consistency. This has changed our lives because now our daughter can take part in meal times and enjoy tastes of the food that we eat together. Thank you vitamix for creating such a powerful tool.
