Works as expected. My only regret is that I waited so longer to purchase one. I replaced a Waring that was high priced but sorely lacking in mixing ability. I use it multiple times daily for soups, sauces, whole food plant based pancake mixes, etc.

It was a very hard decision between 5200 and latest model. Glad I got 5200! It’s just perfect for my kitchen needs where I usually make smoothies for one or max two. I don’t think it’s loud for a blender...have made many batches of almond butter to perfection! Easy to clean.

This is a big and strong blender with a massive motor that is loud and throaty like a good appliance should be. Unlike the cheap brands that leave chunks in your smoothie, the Vitamix machine gets the roughest ingredients into a smooth liquid.

I bought the Vitamix 5200 about one month ago. I absolutely love this blender! I use it daily to make smoothies and shakes. My son, who often makes proteins shakes, uses it as well and he loves it. Easy to clean. This blender does such a beautiful job of blending up anything we throw in it! I’ve made hummus from scratch and it’s the smoothest hummus ever! So easy!

It's been a few weeks since I've had my Vitamix 5200, and I'm so glad I took the plunge and purchased one. I'd been eyeing it for awhile. Because I never do things simply, my first blend was bread dough, and although there is always a learning curve with using a new product, the final bread was just perfect. Since then I've made hummus, hot chocolate, and some fruit sauce, and everything was great!
The controls are easy to use, and they give you great control! The blender looks and feels more high-quality than I anticipated, and I am not disappointed in any way. Oh, as a bonus, it is so easy to clean! If you've been thinking about buying, I say go for it!
