I had been wanting a Vitamix for well over 2 years. I was hesitant to make the investment because of the high price tag, but I have ZERO regrets! It is well worth the price and it will last forever! I told myself I would invest in a Vitamix if I consistently made breakfast smoothies, and WOW! I was previously using a Kitchen Aid food processor and there would always be big chunks of frozen fruit left and pieces of spinach that wouldn't get fully blended. This machine is like no other! In less than 30 seconds I have a smooth whipped-like consistency smoothie. I have also used it to make sauces etc. I am in LOVE!

Really, really happy with this. I have wanted a Vitamix for years. I suffered through other makers (my dear ones bought me Magic Bullet, Ninja, etc), but they were substandard compared to the Vitamix and ultimately a waste of money.

this has been a *very important* addition to our kitchen. my partner and i researched it quite a bit and decided against the newer digitized models because we like the sturdiness of the older models and prefer manual switches to programmable options. at least 1 out of 3 meals a day are smoothies now, we've upped our salad dressing game, and we can easily drink a salad's worth of fresh veg without any chewy spinach or kale getting stuck at the bottom of a glass.

We bought this blender for my special need's son. We wanted to feed him real foods, but a "typical" blender isn't strong enough to blend the food smooth enough that it won't clog his feeding tube.
