The BEST Model

My previous Vitamix was a 5000 and 16 years old. I decided to treat myself to the newer wide base model. I had it for several months and was never happy. Decided to return it and order directly from Vitamix. So happy I did. I was able to get the 5200. I love the narrow canister as it mixes so well and is very powerful with the 'turbo' button and vortex mix of contents. My husband said to buy anything to go with it, so I chose the 32 oz. container. It is great for salad dressings, mayo, and smaller liquids. I can't say enough about how thrilled I am to get the 5200. It has newer features than the 5000, so I do feel I have an upgrade. It really was the canister and 'turbo' button I wanted. Love Vitamix and their customer service is the BEST!!!!!

Great Blender

I am writing this review about a blender that I purchased 10 years ago and is still going strong. This has been making smoothies daily for 10 years and is still going strong. I do think I need to replace the bearings on the pitcher soon, but that is not a problem. Best kitchen purchase I have made.

Too early to tell for certain but so far so good

We bought this after our previous blender broke. The previous blender was cheap by comparison but we're only light users and it lasted for probably around 8-9 years. Our thought was this should last the rest of our lives. Hopefully that is the case but obviously too early to tell. The thing that really impressed us is how smooth the results come out. Levels above our other mixer.
