I use my Vitamix 5200 almost every day! It makes amazing smoothies, soups, pesto, and hummus. My favorite part is that it's all one piece so it's a breeze to clean and put back right away.

Long Lasting Blender Forever!

I bought my Vitamix 5200 in 2008 and it still works great, I make amazing smoothies for my family, made with frozen fruits and ice cubes. I also make sauces and vegetables smoothies. Blend flax seeds and other grains very well. I can say that Vitamix is worth every penny! Sometimes, I want to buy a new digital Vitamix model just to be in digital fashion.

The BEST Model

My previous Vitamix was a 5000 and 16 years old. I decided to treat myself to the newer wide base model. I had it for several months and was never happy. Decided to return it and order directly from Vitamix. So happy I did. I was able to get the 5200. I love the narrow canister as it mixes so well and is very powerful with the 'turbo' button and vortex mix of contents. My husband said to buy anything to go with it, so I chose the 32 oz. container. It is great for salad dressings, mayo, and smaller liquids. I can't say enough about how thrilled I am to get the 5200. It has newer features than the 5000, so I do feel I have an upgrade. It really was the canister and 'turbo' button I wanted. Love Vitamix and their customer service is the BEST!!!!!

Amazing machine. If you wonder if it will, the answer is yes, it will. I owned a used machine for 7 years previously. The smoothies/food I made with it, coupled with a total lifestyle make over, lead to a 200 lb weight loss journey for me.

I am thrilled with my 5200 Standard Vitamix. It amazes me how it can blend a chunk of frozen fruit, half a head of cabbage, several long carrots, 1/4 cup of seeds, and three cups of kale in the canister 3/4 full of water for 20 seconds at high speed and out comes a silky smooth, delicious drink! It's incredible! I loved my Champion Juicer for years, but this is a great new method of getting the whole food for great nutrition and no wasted pulp. I love it! I already feel healthier, look better, and lost weight in the month that I have had it.

I have a 5200 from a while back and purchased one of the top-of the-line Ascent series a year or so ago. 5200 wins every time. Just love the funnel shape to it.

Great product; need glass jar

I owned a Vitamix forever. It lasted till 2023!!! Completely satisfied (I admit its noisier), and now, I am in market again for a new vitamix. My only problem is that I need a glass jar for soups and hot stuff.

Subpar warranty

Just beware of the warranty, if your someone who depends on this unit for dietary reasons and it gives out they do not replace units at all. You will have to have your unit refurbished. And if they find that it was caused due to neglegence they won't fix it so at the price point it leaves a lot to be desired. I can buy 5 ninja blenders and they have an amazing warranty.
