It has its limitations, and you should be aware of them before using it for anything. Also, invest in the blade scraper and the dry foods container will run you a pretty penny, but it’s needed. Overall, recommend getting the shorter container so your base is wider, but that just means more $$$. Don’t know if I’ve found it worth the expense yet, but it’s far more powerful than my last blender which was practically worthless.

I bought my Vitamix right when they upgraded from the stainless steel model with the soft serve dispenser coming out of the side. It had to have been 20+ years ago. We use it at least EVERY day. It is finally showing it's age. I am excited to buy my new Vitamix.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Product features, Power
I didn't expect the pitcher to be plastic, hope it holds up. I use for smoothies right now. Not sure if it was worth the extra money. We'll see how the motor is doing in a couple of years.
The title says it all. Performance-wise it's a five star blender, but with the price factoring it's four stars overall in my opinion. The seven year warranty is nice, but, again for this price it oughta be double that.
Pros: Easy to clean, Durability, Quality, Easy to use, Power
