I am so glad that I decided to purchase this. It has been a dream come true for me. I have wanted a Vitamix for so long and finally did it! It has been totally worth the purchase price. I use it every day for smoothies, soups, dressings, etc. And, I know that I will have it for a long, long time!

Still Love My 30 year old Vitamix

I bought my first Vitamix blender 30 years ago after watching a demonstration at the store. I tasted the delicious hot soup that he made in a couple of minutes by adding just water and fresh vegetables. It was amazing to me that the high speed blades could generate enough heat to make soup.
I've used the blender several times a week ever since to make large batches of smoothies for my entire family. They're addicted. They all warn me whenever we're about to run out of smoothies. My husband regularly asks if I need anything from the store to make smoothies. We all feel the difference in our energy level and mood on the days that I didn't plan ahead and we run out. I grow organic wheat grass or buy organic greens for the super nutrition.
Many of my friends have also purchased a Vitamix blender after trying one of my smoothies.
When my son went away to school, I purchased another blender for him to have while he was at school. He is convinced of the importance of a healthy diet because of difference that he feels after drinking Vitamix smoothies.
There are very few products you can buy that are so vitally important to your health. The best part is - it's a product of outstanding quality, and excellent customer service. It's one of the few products made in the U.S. that is not designed to break down after a few years. Too bad all American made products aren't this good.

24 hours and already don't remember eating before

I've been researching and wanting a high-end blender for years. I finally bought this online and received it yesterday. In less than 24 hours, I've made delicious green soup which I've wanted to make for a long time but didn't have the proper blender. I've put away my juicer and started using my Vitamix. I have yet to use it for dry ingredients although it supposedly doesn't do dry ingredients, but then again it supposedly doesn't juice. I already don't know how I lived without it.

Over seven years and still going strong.

My Vitamix 5200 has been out of warranty for awhile but is still going strong.
Its over 7 years old and is used almost daily.
I had bought it years ago when my elderly Mother came to live with me. She had a hard time chewing so I made her vegetable soups in the Vitamix and she loved them..................it kept her going till she was 96 ( she came to live with me when she 90) and she passed away 3 1/2 years ago. I still make those soups in addition to smoothies and more and am sure there are some more good years in this unit. When you factor in how long it lasts its really not that expensive.
You are not only buying the best quality but a product that is made in the USA and supports the American economy.

I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday over a month ago and he absolutely loves it. He is a sous chef so anything kitchen-related has to be Top Notch and this is the perfect blender. It does so many other things it's basically like having a bunch of tools in one product. He even mentioned that this is the same brand that they use professionally in the kitchens, so needless to say he was impressed! We're 100% satisfied, it's worth every penny.

I've had two other Vitamix 5200s and they performed beautifully. Both were everything they should be for a high end blender. However, my new 5200 doesn't do the job. I've had a lot of experience making smoothies and this new Vitamix does fully blend fruit and veggies. I've tried a few smoothie variations with complete disappointment. I don't know whether the new container shape (48 oz) makes the difference or the machine itself. My older 5200 was better.

Wish I'd bought this sooner! After going non dairy I found making a truly creamy nut cheese impossible with other blenders and food processors. This makes the smoothest almond and cashew cheese EVER!
