Our mornings are crazy and we all want something a little different. I can make dad his protein shake, the kids their vitamin packed smoothie and my peanut butter protein shake all in under 8 minutes! But that’s not all it does, this beast can make soup too! The perfect taco soup with no waste. And last but not least the best blended margaritas EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about two years ago, and let me tell you, I’m still in love with this machine. It literally does everything. I got rid of three other kitchen appliances after getting the vitamix because I never had a need for them afterwards. So versatile. My toddler loves his daily smoothies we make, and I love that along with everything else that we can make!

We originally got due to our daughter having a rare food allergies but no other blender compares! The smoothest smoothies, nice creams, soups, and even great for making bread crumbs and powdered sugar!

I have owned the 5200, the s series personal blender, AND even the Ascent. My favorite is the 5200. The carafe is narrower and so you can use a smaller amount and still get it to blend super smooth. Since the carafe is also fairly tall, it does have ample room if you wish to make larger amounts. The personal size blender, to be honest, isn't much better than a cheapo nutribullet. The Ascent is nice, and I like the small cups that go on it, as theycare perfect size for making salad dressings for one or two people, or making a batch of some salsa Verde type sauce. But the shape of the carafe on the 5200, makes it ideal for me, since the two main things I use it for are turning frozen fruit into refreshing healthy sorbet, and for making greens heavy smoothies. If you want a blender for super smooth smothies, soups, and sorbets, then this is the best model to get. I have had mine for about 10 years, and I've never had a problem, and I've never had to replace a part.
