After burning up two inferior blenders, I decided to splurge and get one that will last. With a seven year warranty on the motor, this sounded like the one I needed. It got great recommendations from Consumer Reports. I've had this blender for about two months now and coudn't be happier. It blends beautifully and even pulverizes the seeds from berries ! No more seeds sticking in your teeth. I use this just for fruit smoothies. After adding my almond milk, ground flax seed, protein powder, and spinach, I put the frozen fruit on top (bananas,kiwi,pineapple,cranberries etc.). It doesn't take long before I have a nice cold, great tasting smoothie. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. I couldn't be happier.

Bought my Vitamix 1 month ago, and so happy I did. My husband needs protein shakes on a daily basis for healing and health purposes. Without the Vitamix, they were a nightmare. Now just a few minutes and it is ready to go. It basically cleans itself when you are done. Add water, soap, turn on and done.

I absolutely love this blender. The features are simple and very practical. I make vegan ice cream in a snap; the blades blend the almonds perfectly smooth for my home made raw almond milk. The dry container kneeds dough and blends grain/nuts to make fresh flours. The motor has a powerful kick that gets the ingredients going. It's worth every penny...This blender is quite a gem!
