We went through two other brands of smoothie blenders. They did not work overly great. This blender is expensive, but it was well worth it. By the time we spent all of the money on the other blenders that ended up not working, we wished that we would have started with this one.

Two very senior people are enjoying this terrific machine. We use it daily making highly neutrious concoctions in zip time. Clean up is a whiz which makes it so easy to use.
I keep the main power part near my sink with the container lid on top when not in use for quick ease of use. Looks neat and tidy there with low profile on working top. The container goes in cupboard. This is a fun hard working class act machine with a wonderful warranty. Love it!

I bought my Vitamix about a month ago and it has made a world of difference in making the protein shakes I drink every day. As part of a medical necessity, I drink 3 protein drinks that require mixing powder, supplements, oil, coconut milk and ice. The constant clean up with a regular blender was exhausting. With the Vitamix the shakes mix up SO quickly and evenly. The shakes are frothy and the supplements and powder are always mixed perfectly. Clean up is extremely easy and fast. I have yet to try green drinks or fruit/veggie smoothies with the Vitamix. But I am excited to do so! Thank you for a great product!
