This model blender perfectly suits the needs of my family. We FINALLY have smooth smoothies! I have made smoothies, marinara sauce, cream soup and a sherbet-like dessert so far. This model blender is very versatile and easy to clean. For me, I like being able to control things with the dials and levers, as opposed to using a program setting. I highly recommend this model.
