[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our DesignJet printer stopped working. The screen prompted me to call HP. I did and was told that I needed a replacement kit. It was an easy fix, we ordered one and installed it the day it arrived (within 2 days) My experience with HP support was fast and easy.

I bought the replacement because the original messed up the color printing after just a few months. I didn't mind so much at that time because I normally just use the black ink. Until the printer stop printing. So I bought a new replacement kit last month. I was happy I can print again with my usual need for the black print. Until today part of my printing job would need to use colors, and that's the time I found out that the color printing is not working right. There are large and wide lines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacing the printhead is very easy to remove existing and install new printhead.
5 years on the first printhead, but I was told, 3-4 years is the average on replacing the printhead.
