[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trimmer works well, although it takes a little time to get used to a variable speed head. I was even able to mount a brush cutter to it, making it even more versatile.
Pros: Effective, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really well balanced, so it’s easy to use for long durations. The smaller battery is plenty for getting the edges of a yard. I was able to cut down about an 1/8 of an acre of tall brush with some battery to spare.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Effective

Nice Improvements Over Gen1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have what I believe is a Gen1 80-V Greenworks attachment-capable trimmer, and I sought to replace that becuase it's been in heavy use for five years, and I wanted to do so while it was still functioning to use as a dedicated trimmer for use at my mother-in-law's house. I was frustrated that little information is available to compare the various models and generations of Greenworks string trimmer, but that's my only complaint and reason for lower the overall review to 4/5 stars. Otherwise, I have been pleasantly surprised to find that the sleeve / collar for connecting attachments has indeed been improved in this model. I also note that, if anything, this model appears to be more powerful than my Gen1 in that when using an edging attachment this version doesn't seem to stop occosionally as did the Gen1 (it's possible that what I'm experience is due to variations in soild conditions, so I cannot swear that it is indeed more powerful). In any event, I've been impressed by the Gen3 thus far and do not have any concerns about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good trimmer, but the guard is way too small. I ended up with debris all over my pants legs and on my shirt. Our smaller Ryobi trimmer has a bigger guard than this one. The battery lasts about a half hour of continuous use. Thankfully we have an extra battery.
Pros: Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective
