As a general rule, when cutting tall grass with a string trimmer, cut from the top down, removing no more than 5 inches in each pass to prevent wrapping and overheating. The 80V 2.0 battery lasts as long as I’m able to do my weed whacking. The tool and battery aren’t too heavy and easy to use.

Great for wacking weeds and tall grass. Battery lasted a little over an hour when trimming tall grasses on hillside. Quieter than gas powered trimmer. Love starting it with a press of the trigger.
Weight seems about the same as gas powered trimmer. Would like to have an adapter to help trim grass edges along walks and driveway. Like being able to share battery with other Greenworks tool. I have a Greenworks leaf blower that does a great job also.

It’s pretty powerful the charge last a good period of time. Actually I would put it up against my gas trimmer. The only thing is it is shorter than my gas model so takes a bit to get use to.

The original line spool was two separate line. I couldn’t get it to advance and I had open it up and unreel the line and just put one line in. I have only used it once and kind of difficult to remove gras growing out of cracks cement areas.
