My new greenworks Pro 80V 16" trimmer is great. It is powerful and the battery lasts a long time. The best part is not having to deal with gas, oil, and it not starting for the first 10 pulls (on my gas trimmer).... The battery charges back to full-power quickly which is great. So far it has worked great for me.
Such a great product and addition to my Greenworks 80v mower and blower. I love that the speed of the motor is adjustable during use and not just an “on/off”.
I'm a guy who likes to tinker on small engines as a hobby. And I drive a diesel. So I would be the last guy to go electric. But a buddy let me try his 80v string trimmer and wow -- now I'll never go back!
I'm thrilled with the ease of use. Zero prep time, just start cutting. It cuts the total job time in half. And the battery life is amazing. I can do 3 full trims and still don't need to charge it. Highly recommend.
Outstanding trimmer by Greenworks with the shoulder strap it helps greatly in balancing the trimer slight bump tap and line comes to length plenty of battery power for our 1/3 of acre.
I bought this specifically to be able to attach other cutter heads, and had no problem doing so. It works great, and the attachments work easily. Only issue is the battery. If you are planning on using any other battery, don't. They apparently all make small changes so they won't fit each other. Very frustrating. Same size, just put the groves in a slightly different spot so they are not interchangeable. Only their 80V will apparently fit.
Most features were great, but very heavy, and now the motor is frozen. It just buzzes I have only had this for my 2nd season and disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
