Malfunctioned after 3 uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item in May 2024 and used for general edging and trimming minor weeds. I will admit that it did the job the first two times but during the third it either jammed or a piece of grass blades got inside where it no longer turns. I tried to operate it but did not want to unscrew the interior motor portion. I tried it again the next day with a fully charged battery but it will hum and not turn. Unfortunately the item is no longer returnable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with this string trimmer. It has plenty of power and the dual speed allows me to conserve battery power when cutting grass. I have 4 ft tall weeds and this cuts as good as my gas trimmer. Only problem is battery life. The included 2 ah lasts 15-20 mins and the higher capacity costs more than the trimmer did.
Pros: Easy to Use, Environmentally Safe, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very strong and powerful, wouldn’t expect any less, based on the other Greenworks equipment I have. This trimmer goes through the thick stuff no problem, relatively quiet as well. If I were to nitpick, I would say it’s a little heavier than the gas powered unit I had, and it feels like it’s a tad short from the adjustable grip to the head.
Overall, very pleased with this unit.
Looking forward to a few years of not needing gasoline or changing plugs or cleaning or changing carburetors.

The remanufactured 16" 80 volt weed trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was exited to purchase this weed trimmer because I purchased the 21 inch 80 volt lawn mower and leaf blower, which have been amazing! Now I received this trimmer which is missing hardware and I can't even put it together properly to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
